Thought I would let you all know the £2 Mills & Boon coupon from Real People mag scanned beautifully twice today at self service at Asda. I bought Asda suncream for £2.99 and then went round a second time and bought some groceries and some more issues of Real people for the moc's and it took my other £2 coupon as well! So I am :D

If the mags have a lot of worthwhile coupons in, I tend to buy about 10 at a time.
I bought 10 pick me ups for £6.50 but used £5 in vouchers I already had so low cost to me for a nice wad of coupons :)

Just lately I've had a lot of funny looks at the tills for buying several copies of the same magazine or newspaper.. and they've even checked on occasion if I meant to buy duplicate copies.

If questioned I usually say they're not all for me. :D

Mind you, if the lady that checked in Tesco Petrol Station the other day [DM book token day] had known that by then I had already bought some in store.. and at Alldays.. and at the Co-op.. :rotfl:

Oh.. and I made OH stop and get a few at the garage on his way to work too.. lol.

I have updated post no2 with info re the free 'summer mag' from Sainsbury's, many thanks to the posters. Some nice coupons inside for those who shop at Sainsbury's, especially the MOC for Sainsbury's mag, which I know many of you buy.

I went to Somerfield this afternoon and managed to find the latest issue of their mag. Quite a few coupons inside, all info in post no2. ;)

    Thanks everyone :)

  • Essentials I think is a no as I didn't get anything for my copy but I'm sure other people have said there was a gift with it.

    Hello again all!!

I was feeling my purse was a bit short on coupons, lol! So for the first time in ages I browsed on Bob's ( http://www.bobsfreestuffforum.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=117) for some info. There are some internet printable coupons on there if anyone wants to check those out.

But I also spotted this, posted in June by Silverlining:

QUOTE: Gala bingo free magazine has 2 X 39p off CHAT mag on page 12, valid for a good while, something like August if I remember correctly, sorry used them already! So get yourself to a free bingo session and stock up on the free mag coupons! QUOTE

P.S. I think I may have read something about this before on here or PTS (someone was debating whether to walk in and out of their local Bingo Hall just for the mags, lol!) but thought it derserves a mention on MBN's thread as the coupons are still valid. Maybe someone can post the actual expiry date?

I'm not sure about it either. I had this on a 3 for £1 subscription and got the gifts for the first 2 issues, but didn't get it for the third. Maybe they changed their policy around that time (April)?

I'm glad someone was able to confirm this. When I phoned up I was told that it "looks like you get the free gifts" but the postcard does say "you may not"

Its a pity the people manning the subscription phones aren't given all of the correct information.

The girl I spoke to about Marie Claire was much more helpful and I'm looking forward to receiving my magazines and the goodies I got for signing up. I had a subscription for Marie Claire years ago and never had any problems with them.
