Sorry, can I just say, one problem with typing and posting messages is the typed word can be perceived in a different context than it was meant.
I wasnt in any way slaging off MSE ers, and yes I do know some people have dyslexia. (That said there are many poeple who just didn't apply themselves at school and have never bothered afterwards)
The point I meant to make, (but probably went off a bitonce I started writing an essay lol) was that you can't really make comparisms with disabled people. My dad always said I had verbal diarrhoea; seems I have the typing form too:rotfl: I went a bit astray with my post!
And there's no apostrophe in Doctors LB
:j
(Now see that's a joke given the posts, (hence the smilies) and I am sure LB will take it as such, but some peple may take offence at it. Please don't It is meant tongue in cheek and only said as humour because of the subject matter here)
P.s. I had to look up diarrhoea to check I'd spelt it properly :rotfl:
And as LB says its good to have a bit of a bit of frivolity. After all a lot of us are likely bored housewives and life consists of loving our kids, indulging our partners and getting as much free from Mr T and Boots as we can!:T
Long may it last!:money:I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -
And yes my typing is awful. I know slagging has 2 "g"s

Please can someone post up a list of the "home" magazines in tesco. Apparently if you buy two you get 100 clubcard points. I am hoping that gardening mags are included“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0

Well folks
I am just new to this coupon thingy and I tried It for the first time today at the self service counters. I started scanning some vouchers for money off my shopping without having buying the products, and unfortunately the asda assistant came up to me and asked if i was actually buying the products, I said no and she told me that I couldnt do that. I said why not and she said you had to buy the product and went and got her supervisor.
The supervisor said the same and told me they had an email they were not allowed to accept them without buying the product, so I asked for my coupons back (i know probably a bit cheeky) She then said she couldnt do that and that she would allow me to have the money off this time but not to do it again. So still managed to get £5.50 off my shopping, but a bit saddened that I wont be able to do it again.0 -
My local Asda has a sign on the Self Scanning Till, telling you to make the supervisor/Sales assistant aware if you are using coupons..2011: £10 Sports Direct Voucher, Peppa Pig Wii Game, Trivial Pursuit Card Game, £100 Chat magazine win, Dance workout dvd, Grease wii game,0

Don't be disheartend, you'd be better to try Tesco rather than Asda, Tesco have a national policy where they will take one of each coupon if you haven't purchased the product and 2 if you have. There is the odd store that may be fussy with this policy but usually if you're persistant they will give in. None of my local Asdas will take coupons particularly at the self scan, so I don't bother. I know Tesco will happily take them all. Also I perefer to go to a cashier, then you have less embarrassment with them opening up the self scan etc, as you can just ask the cashier to take the coupons, much easier. HTH you and don't give up, you will soon be very addicted to saving the pennies!Well folks
