and we ve done some of the work, of selecting the link, copying and pasting it to the correct box?0 -
Ok more tech stuff. If you click the letter it will take you to the main comp database so you don't have to have other windows open (so copy the url you found it on, click logo and then enter url) makes it more mobile friendly. If you leave the comp database open in one window and search in another that will work as long as you take a copy of the url bar from the top. some of the urls change slightly with sessions and tracking. Some of the logos are now being moved due to sharing on forums. We know where they are at what time and when we moved them to a new url.
Do not share on online forums its against the rules. We know sharing will go on but do it offline and make sure you check that that REALLY is the location of the url when you are entering it as it might not be valid anymore!
If you've done any wrong you can edit after entering.0 -
TBH, I can't see how they could see who had used copied links. When I've found them, I've clicked the top, copied the link and pasted it into my form. If I have found one here, I have copied the link and pasted it into the form. How can they find out the ones that are copied? They can't. It's impossible. The only way they can disqualify someone is if the know who they are.0

So what about people who have genuinely searched the links and now the pages have moved them .. are they disqualified?? If so, then that's wrong as there are thousands of entrants so how can they prove who has checked and who has copied?0 -
im gutted ive found a few today and didnt realise it was against the rules or i wouldnt have shared

When I 'edit' my entries the box is empty. Is that OK? I expected to see my URL in there.Baby Giz born 6/2/110

Ones moved will still be valid on previous urls.0

It's always empty, it's so you can change your answer if need be.
However, for this comp if, for example, you find the pic and and the URL is https://www.abc.com you copy it into your form. If you post it here and someone copys it, it will still be https://www.abc.com so how they work out who has copied or not will be impossible.
(Edit to add - there is a https://www.abc.com lol)
