    WM on
DS2 tiding his room - without being asked.
    Food shop and put away

Time for a cuppa and to help DS1 wth paperwork until lunchtime. After lunch need to take DS2 and his desk back to school. DS3 can come with me as it is his school from September so the more visits the better.

Bossy - that was a wise decision, I hope DS loves it.

Mrs B strength coming your way.

  • Morning all

Posi-vibes to Ionafan - everything crossed for you.

Thanks for the lists ladies - not sure what will be achieved today as I have a massive amount of gibble to deal with, hampered by a massive amount of CBA thanks to celebratory drinkipoos last night. Me and OH decorated the lounge yesterday. We finally put the finishing touches in at 11 pm last night and opened a bottle of wine to sit back and enjoy the fruits of our labours. Unfortunately one bottle became TWO!!!! I am utterly poisoned today. :( Annoyed with myself as today is the first day of kids and OH back to school/work and I had such big plans GRRRRRRR.

PLEASE SEND ME SOME MOTIVATION IN WHATEVER FORM, I TRULY NEED IT.

This house is a tip. Only got back from a canoeing trip on Friday and all the washing, camping gear is everywhere, together with all the decorating stuff. The dog needs to go out; there's about half a dozen phone calls to make which are important; Hotmail is saying someone has been trying to access my account and needs to reset it by sending a security code to another email address (I only have the one!) and I desperately need to access some work emails; Physio appointment at 2.30 pm; school run, cook dinner and go to work tonight. Bit off more than I can chew I reckon and I just don't know where to begin.

Aw well - Anyone up for kicking me up the proverbial for HHC?

    11.30 - 12 noon - PHONE CALLS

  • BTW - My Dad had to have false teeth in his 20's as he had the gum disease, pyorreah. They reckoned it was from eating from chipped crockery so do take this task seriously everyone.

If it's too pretty/valuable/sentimental to throw away - why not display it on a shelf or cabinet or can it be "upcycled" - Jugs turned into vases? Mugs into Pen holders etc., etc.,

    Just a thought ......

    Right - phone calls NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just spent an hour in the attic, not visible but heres a largeish pile on the landing - old work papers, manky old silk flowers, the batered looking cake board from our wedding - thers sentimental and theres hoarding its a cardboard foil covered one that covered in cut marks so looks really minging. lots of battered shoe boxes and other bits of clutter a broken cd rack and small mdf shelves? i dont know what they are off (about 5 carrier bags worth)its piled on the landing really to ba up and sling this afternoon. got to check it incase any of the old papers need shredding.

just time to wash up and throw a couple of jacket pots in then im off to work.

Ewww I never thought about the chips in all my mugs <hmm excuse to buy new ones?> but I suppose all the scratched childrens plastic plates are the same? Even if they go in DW on hot? The kiddies tend to have ceramic side plates now unless they ask for carpet picnic in which case we use plasticware. Hmmm. Yuk.

So, yesterday my mum went on hol, and because the bank was shut (usually a sunday opener) she couldn't pay in sDad business cheques, so I said give them to me (;)) rather than not bank them for a week. Well, what she didn't tell me is that the bank is shut all week for a refurb!!! Doh. So now I've promised, I will have to take them to another branch. Grrr  daft mare.

Anyway, bank errand not run, due to above, but I did pick up my sainsburys click and collect which they had last thursday but hadn't bothered to notify me... And I got some smalls from m&s I think one pack went through as sale item by mistake :o but I got 4 brassieres and 2 knicks for £32 :money:
