Been a while but I am in - full of the joys of spring and all that...

    Killer Kitchen - Monday
    Level One
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
[STRIKE]Open the windows and let in the spring![/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Sweep and Mop the floor[/STRIKE]
Clean the gacky filters and drawers from DW's, WM's etc
Wipe the cupboard fronts, appliances and all those manky corners!!
    Level Three
Wipe the table, replace cloth if needed
Clean all those small appliances, wipe their home then put them back..
Wipe the gicky things out of the fridge.
    Extras
Clean oven/hob if you must.. *rolls eyes*
    [STRIKE]HHI .. with your clean iron!![/STRIKE]
    Clean windows and sills
[STRIKE]treat the pets for fleas!!! This is prime time for them to be developing an infestation.. the last thing you need in your house! (still not done mine.. bad me!)[/STRIKE]

Deep clean challenge day one.. I do not want anyone straining themselves so if this is too much or not sensible because you'll hurt yourself don't do it!! Listen to your body.
    - Empty the cupboards and clean the entire insides, start with the worst cupboard!!.. shelves, everything.<<< Made a start!
    - Get rid of the chipped plates etc.. the chipped parts harbour germs of disgusting proportions as the pottery but it porous they have lots of places to hide.. revolting.. get rid!
[STRIKE] - Figure out what needs using up first and work it into your meal plan this week![/STRIKE]
    - Clear clutter from shelves and wipe them over.. I want to see empty spaces and shiny shelves!!

Good luck for tomorrow ionafan :)

    Checking in...

We are in as much as I can manage which is all thought and 'when I can walk' in the future..

Tesco delivery tomorrow which should be hilarious given I have hardly any cupboard space due to the larder unit doing itself in.

Thanks to all for your spoons and kind thoughts, and to Valli for your practical suggestions.

Have you checked out the new house for bird watching opportunities? When my mum came to stay over Easter she said "you could never move; where would you find so many birds to watch?".

Oh yes, it backs onto greenbelt with mature trees and farmland :D That's part of the attraction! We had a tree creeper here yesterday :j and we saw a green woodpecker on the verge 100 yards from our house :) (please let them come and visit our lawn!)

I have got up early to do some paperwork which has to go in the post today. Will take yesterday's washing x4 (dried outside) upstairs when I go for my shower and do a quick tidy round later. Having just finished my early morning :coffee: I must now get on with the urgent stuff. DH has his regular weekly blood test this morning but fortunately doesn't need me to hold his hand for that!

Hope everyone has a good day. Thinking especially of all of you who are returning to work and/or sending children back to school - I remember what a shock it is to the senses!!!

    Morning all

Thanks for the new thread Natty. Boys back at school tomorrow so need to make sure they have everything today (I know they don't right now).

Ionafan, I have everything crossed for you

Froddy enjoy your last day, summer term and not too long until half term

    Welcome back Poly and CBB

I'll be in for the kitchen and hope to get a bit done in the garden, I want to sow some more seeds which is not hard work.

    Good morning ladies.

Thanks for the new thread Natty.

I hope it goes your way Ionafan.

The sun is shining. DD2 wants to wear a summer dress. The jury is still out on that one.

I'm working today and on a cake course tonight. I need to go to MR T. I will try to get some flying accomplished after school.

    Good week vibes for everyone.

Thanks to Dusty and Natty for the threads. I'm in for this week.

Dusty Hope you take it easy

Ionafan spoons and lots of luck heading your way.

Froddington I love my steam cleaner. Personally it makes cleaning a lot easier. Also I don't need to worry that fumes/chemicals will set my asthma off.

    Narc0 sending spoons.

Amazed that DD did not moan. Have put her in winter dress as not too sure if it will be warm enough for no tights!

Will try and do Monday's list when I get home from work.
