Im new here so please be gentle but I've been comping for ages too without any wins.

Its important to remember that these are competitions we can't all win all the time.

I have lean spells, I think we all do, but tbh I think that adds to the anticipation that any day soon you might win something!

I don't take comping particularly seriously; it's just a hobby I fit in around DS's preschool hours, and sometimes fill a few hours with at weekends. I maybe enter 50 - 100 most days, and generally win a couple of times a month.

I second the suggestions of entering competitions to win smaller prizes too; it's just as exciting getting a DVD or some make up through the post as it is when you win a bigger prize. I only enter comps where I will actually like/use the prize, so everything I win is something that I, my DH, the kids or one of a my family members could make use of.
