We booked through Travelcity direct and found these cheap and good. We had been previosly with Thomas Cook and these were equally good, but the same holiday with Travelcity direct was £1000 cheaper (for 4 of us). We did a 2 centre holiday - Orlando 1st week and the Gulf coast the 2nd week. (St Petes Beach 1st time and CLearwater 2nd time). We have found this a great way to do Florida (alot of people seem to stay in Orlando for the whole 2 weeks and drive out to the coast periodically, but it is a lot of time in the car). By getting the busy stuff out of the way 1st week, then relaxing the 2nd, you get home refreshed and not frazzled!! We stayed in the cheapest hotel offered in Orlando as you really dont spend any time in it - we went out in the morning and got back around 10.30pm for a swim in the pool before going to bed. We spent a bit more on a beach hotel the 2nd week. We choose the St Petes/ Clearwater area for the 2nd week as it is only 2 hours drive from Orlando, and there are lots of interesting places to visit for the odd day (If you can be bothered!!) Busch Gardens is ok to do the 2nd week from here - not as far to drive, and there are places like Tarpon Springs which has a very large Greek population and you can go out on a boat to see the Manatees. Have a lovely time - its great fun!

i also used travelcitydirect and found them great value!!!
it was 2 adults and a infant, even though we paid for a seat for her and it came to £1216!! that included pre-seating and a upgrade on our car.
we stayed in best western lakeside in kissimee which is about a 5 min drive from all the disney parks and it is a lovely hotel. very clean and the staff were really helpful.
we came back just over 2 weeks ago and all in all had a great holiday!!!
we will def be going back and most def using travelcitydirect again!!!!

    hope this helps!!!

Try https://www.orlandovillas.com for excellent choices for villas and flights that are very competative, including car hire. This is with everthing included - no nasty cdw insurance charges.

Alternatively my father in law has a villa if you want to pm me.

We have booked with TravelCity Direct to go in January 2008 - before it gets hot. Glad to note that this company is reputable as well as reasonable. I suspect the OP will, like me, want some guidance on the best deal on the Disney Tickets.... Anyone ?

    Hi Folks,

Would highly recommend the following website for any information Disney/Orlando related :

    https://www.thedibb.co.uk

We have visited 3 times now (and planning fourth), first time was package deal with Airtours/MyTravel, since then have booked flights, villa, tickets, car hire etc. DIY.

However you get there though, have a great time, sure you will.

Best guidance on Disney tickets is through Disney at the theme park! Avoid touts and resells! That goes for all parks in FL.
Beware that if you are getting a multi pass/multi day ticket, these are Non Transferable, and in most parks you get your finger prints checked and matched to your card.
In a case that I've experienced with tickets, if you have problems, go to the customer services desk as they're usually really reasonable and can over ride ticketing problems. (They are usually good for extra discounts too and lots of help!)

We stayed at a disney hotel on our first trip and I would NOT recommend staying there. Our 2nd trip was spent on International drive and was much better. Yes we had to have a car to get to disney but we really enjoyed it.
Try becoming a member of virgins flying club and have alook at the miles plus money flights. You purchases miles and the price of the flights come down.
