yes he is claiming benefits as although he is a qualified painter and decorator he gave it up to look after his mum, his next goal is to find a job as he thinks it going to be a struggle without one but hopefully with his qualifications it won't be longsecurityguy wrote: »Is he reliant on housing benefit to pay for it? I wish him all the best reeree, It will not be easy, but it could be a whole new lease of life for him!
he may like to think about taking a refresher course at college - if he is on benefits it would be free or very low charge. this would have the added benefit of easing him back into a work routine and he would meet lots of other people with the same interest.0 -
