Lease car - Private repair

I'll notify my insurer but say i intend to pay for the repairs myself.
The bumper is not damaged, just a small scuff that you really need to put your face to spot, probably covered under my gap policy anyway.
The only issue is the wing, the panel looks like it easily comes out, and it's a minor dent. The only issue is that it's on the crease of the wheel arch. So probably a new wing and a respray.
If they spot the repair, they won't make me buy or pay for the whole car? just charge me for value difference or the repair to be done again? Again i have gap insurance, so that may cover that..0 -
You were asked ages ago what the colour of the car was, twice actually

Metallic blue.0 -
I just had a look through my insurance policy, and it does not say i have to contact them for every accident. It says what i have to do if i hit someone or there is an injury involved. e.g. contact police, give insurance details to anyone that asks. Can't see anywhere that says i have to contact them no matter what, only if i intend to claim.0

If it's a common colour (I'd imagine it is) blending shouldn't be an issue. Good luck.

Who is the insurer? It would be extremely rare for a contract of insurance not to specify that you must disclose any new accident or claim.0 -

Gap insurance? Unless you are referring to a different product Gap insurance only covers the difference between a insurance payout and any finance you have outstanding on the car in the event of a total loss.
Is your car really leased, or is it on a PCP type fiance agreement?0 -
The reason I asked is that metallics are notoriously difficult to exactly match the factory colour, particularly light colours such as silver, and would probably be picked up fairly easily by any inspector worth their salt.
To be fair though, if i get it repaired and tell them or not tell them. This is still going to be an issue either way.0
