Just beat Santander ISA deadline?

Hi.I hope I have put this in the right place this time.I took out an ISA with Santander on 7/4/13,expecting to get a rate of 2.5%.The following day they closed access to this account to newcomers by(I think)launching a new ISA at 2%.I can't find anything on their website, but I am hoping that I will be getting 2.5% as I opened the account before the rate was cut.Does anyone know?

Thanks.

I would assume you would get the 2.5 rate. As you applied for it before 8.4.13 and that is the date that will be on all their files etc etc.

To assure yourself you can always make a quick phone call (probably in 2-3 weeks when they're not so busy) and confirm.

I applied for mine on the 6th April, online. And the account is not yet open, however as I applied before the 8th, then the 2.5% is the product I applied for and will be opened. (I called Santander and checked)

Log on to online banking. Send them a secure message asking them to confirm the interest rate on your ISA. Keep the response.

I applied at 9pm on Sunday 7th online and after a phone call the following week, they confirmed I was on the 2.5% rate.
