Weather is abit damp here this morning but looks like its going to turn out to be a lovely day .. Hopefully! Cos I have so much washing to get dried.

Nothing much happening here today, BM & WM will be going on shortly, a quick tidy round, for dinner we was going to have turkey casserole but DH don't fancy that so I think it will be turkey & leek pie with mash.

Hubby is getting ready to start cleaning the animals out, so while he does that I'll make some mini pizza"s for DS's lunch box for next week.

DS is still fast on in bed, hopefully I'll get all my jobs done before he gets up so we can go park & spend the afternoon doing family stuff ... Going to miss him when he goes back school tomorrow.

Hope you all have a lovely day x

    Morning all,

Terrible nights sleep, up every hour just about ah well.

Today off to a vintage fair this morning with dd. then I am planning a mooch around to find some wool, not sure where yet.
I've been watching extreme crocheters on you tube, not for me looks very hard work, and I'm trying to use it for relaxing!
I'm jealous of the craft fair, we have one near us at Capesthorn in Cheshire on 4th May which I'm looking forward to.
Halight, we always used to have lamb breast at home, my very favourite meat. Mum used to cut into small pieces like chops and roast, gorgeous but very fatty.

Well off to get ready, have a good day J x

Hello everyone, I haven't posted much recently but I have been reading along.

We've booked a couple of holidays for next year - a Danube river cruise and a Christmas cruise to Bruges Copenhagen and Oslo. This years cruise is is in September. I always plan ahead.

Just been watching the Chinese Grand Prix, got the washing in and dinner will be roast beef and Yorkshire pud. I don't often have a joint on Sunday but was in the mood for it this weekend.

Will also get the ironing done, but not much else planned, apart from dealing with my eBay auctions that are ending. I've already sold 9 things yesterday, but only have had 3 payments so far.

    Morning all!
It's piddling down here! Washing will be on the airer, was going to have a tidy in the garden but that will be another day! Have some nice braising steak, but only me here for dinner, so will cook it and put in tubs in the fridge, I will take some to work tomorrow as its my first 12 hour shift since starting back!
Will do some ironing later, and have a rummage through the holiday clothes, won't be long now till me and DS are off for a bit of sunshine.
    Have a good day all!

  • Morning Guys!

Had a pretty good nights sleep, so I'm happy:D

DD has a friend over, so impressed her and us by doing another cooked breakfast, small but tasty and not too much food. She even used gluten free sausages so OH could eat it. Wonder whats she's going to ask....being too nice:p:eek::eek::eek::eek:

So far this morning, I have paid 2 bills, filled a form in with a cheque enclosed, replied to a zillion emails and bleached the upstairs toilet as not been downstairs yet.

Its nice, sunny and windy here this morning, so perfect laundry weather, so will see if theres enough washing for OH to put a load on. DD will empty DW and tidy her mess in the kitchen, then when her mates gone, she can tidy her room too.

Have to go into hospital for a small op on Wednesday and at hospital Monday and Friday too this week....lucky me:D

Anyway, have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

another bad nights sleep for me. The girls have been getting me up again at obscene hours for a wee and i stuggle to go back to sleep when they come back inside. I did go to sleep eventually but woke up at gone 10oclock!

Weather isnt very good today so i doubt if we will be going out.

Not got much planned for my day. Apart from the daily ritualistic vacuuming downstairs, the rest of the jobs can wait till tomorrow.

I'm beginning to panic slightly concerning my daughter in South Africa. Apparently there is in an increase in gun crime in the area where they live. Mummy wants her to come home :(

    Have a lovely Sunday all.

  • Good afternoon all.

We've been to the car boot today. DS2 has bought loads of tat with his pocket money but it will keep him occupied. I'd like to say quiet but one of the toys is a noisy sword thing. It might disappear later ;) nothing there for me though. I need some of Redrubys luck!

We then went for brunch at an American diner, pancakes and maple syrup will keep me full until dinner. We're having home pizza and salad tonight. I've got to make the dough yet but I'll do that in the BM.

Lots of eBay auctions finishing today, I'm really pleased with how they're going. It all adds up.

I did all the housework and batch cooking yesterday so just going to crochet this afternoon. I'm 2/3 of the way through the baby blanket, I'm getting bored of it now!

Good afternoon chums did lots of baking yesterday and made a big box of biscuits, and a Victoria Sponge and a large boiled fruit cake so my tins are refilled once again.
Eldest DD came this morning and we had our Sunday morning pot of coffee and after she went I stripped the throws off the sofa and they are blowing nicely on the line after their wash.I'm just about to start to do a bit of ironing then its off to youngest DDs for lunch around 5.00
Tomorrow its Book Club morning followed by a small shop.
Hope those that have it are enjoying the sunny weather
Enjoy the rest of your weekend
    Cheers chums

P.S. I love breast of lamb but I like it on the bone and the left overs make the most delicious shepards pie in the world.True it can be a bit fatty but drain it off and when cold skim and use for roasies. When I have made it I always make a few slits in the skin and push slivers of garlic inside and then sprinkle some rosemary over the top
