Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons codes are not permitted on the Grabbit board and have been moved. If in doubt please read this and this for an explanation. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
• Expires 24th December!!! Spend £18 and get a free £25 cosmetics collection. Use the link http://www.buycosmetics.com/default.aspx?promocode=MS251206 or else enter code MS251206 at checkout. You can also order by phone on 0871 871 7207.

BuyCosmetics have given away these types of sets in the past but they weren't particularly good. However, I think they have reacted to feedback on them and have improved them a lot since I last got one. I'd get one while you have the chance!

I've just had my order through the door with that offer. Unless there's something you really want to get and its a good price there, I would say don't bother. The free cosmetics that come as a gift hardly qualifies as £25 worth unless you buy them from an overpriced shop! they are, namely: 1x rimmel nail polish. 1x revlon lipstick, 1x Almay lipliner, 2x Almay colour cream shadow. not worth £25 are they?

also, they had manually cancelled out a line in my delivered order form which was supposed to another free set of something which they added into my basket when I placed my order online. I know it was meant to be a free gift anyway and I shouldn't complain but surely if they put it in they should honour it? oh well. I'll be writing a letter to buycosmetics.com soon to let them know there's one more dissatisfied customer out here :D

I suspect they are £25 worth at the orignial RRP.
Most moneysavers don't buy things at RRP so it might seem expensive but I suspect they are acting legally.

They use these free gifts as a wy of getting rid of old and excess stocks.
Sometimes you get stuff that is nice and suits you, other times you don't.
I think to a degree you have to expect some of it to be unsuitable because it's very unlikely that a random set of colours will necessarily suit your skin tone and colouring.

My advice would be to go for it if there are things you want anyway, but don't spend extra jsut to get a free set, because chances are some of it won't suit you. You might be able to get a few quid back off ebay but probably not a lost after postage as there is LOADS of makeup on ebay so it won't fetch a great price.

I'm actually intending to do a bit of finger work and find out the RRR of those items and see if they tally up to £25. :D when I have some time to spare that is. Besides, they advertise 8 items in the gift set yet only 5 have arrived. I know they did say items might not be as advertised but you would think they should at least give you the right number as advertised?
