Don't even think about backing down!
I'd send a message saying in the past you've had some buyers claim that an item was dirty, just to get a partial refund, and as you're sure they agree this is a mean thing to do, they'll understand why you no longer issue partial refunds!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I didn't even ask as this was not damage- they are claiming the item was well used and not brand new.
It was despatched brand new and if it arrived used then someone at the PO opened it, used it for a while, resealed it all, repacked it and delivered it to my buyer the next day.
Mind you the story has now changed 3 times and even ebay say it looks suspicious.

If they should leave you neu or neg feedback, just take it with a pinch of salt, reply to the feedback and tell your story. i.,e buyer tried to scam me, just read there feedback they leave for lits of sellers.
I've just found that scam buyers can hide their feedback so you can't read comments so they will soon wise up to this. That means you won't be able to read the feedback they leave for others as well as false positive feedback left for them as a buyer.0 -

Stick to you guns Soolin. You know they are trying to rip you off.
Offer a full refund on return on the item in the condition it was sent. I personally wouldn't offer the return postage, but thats just me.
Also I would report the buyer for malicious buying which it is, she/he obviously seems used to getting items on the "cheap" by saying not as described give me a partial refund.
If you get bad feedback/dsr's I would ask for it to be removed as anyone with a brain can see it would be a deliberate act of revenge for not giving into their demands.
Oh, don't forget to BBL.
