Why? Since most phones will play MP3's - select your own clip and get the phone to play it. It saves you getting junk ware and you'll know what you are getting when you do it yourself!

Right.
And there is also very good freeware tool called Audacity to cut your favourite song.
If you're an iPhone user there is one more step required: conversion to Apple format.
Just drop mp3 file into iTunes, right click and select "convert to AAC format" then right click on new file, "show in Windows Explorer", change extension from .m4a to .m4r and drop new file again to iTunes.
That's it. Your brand new, unique and totally free ringtone is ready to use.


PS.
There is also another freeware tool called Freemake Video Converter to rip off your favourite quotes from video clips (from Youtube for example), just cut it and convert to audio only file.
