Woohoo! I actually slept clear through the night last night! The first time in about 2 months! Anyone else having trouble sleeping in the first trimester? I mean, going to bed at 8:00pm, then waking at about 2:00am, and staying up until about 6:00am until finally flaking out for the last hour before the alarm goes off....I'm so overjoyed about having a full nights sleep I don't know what to do!Debt at highest 01/01/2008- $79,385.32

Candy, so glad all went well with the scan!! Hope you are getting some well deserved rest...and I hope you are looking after yourself as well as your Dad, DD and grandbaby
xxx.
I refuse to get drawn into BFing debates...but my MW is the same everytime I see her! DD should be supported whatever she decides just as I was when I chose formula.
Glad you had a good nights kip, Crazy! I wake up constantly through the night but I think I've done that anyway since I was preg with Poppy :rotfl: .

Got my scan appiontment through yesterday for 2nd October when I will be 12 + 4 and am really looking forward to it now that I have had an early scan and know that everything is fine.
Also told a couple of friends at work yesterday. Couldnt not tell them really as I have had such bad morning sickness. It is great that I dont have to hide it from them anymore. They knew we were trying so were just waiting for the news anyway!!
I will be telling my sisters tomorrow as we are having a girly day out and I feel ready to tell a few people now. But that will be it now until after the scan.0 -
A few of you are saying that midwives are brainwashing or forcing breastfeeding on to mothers to be.. All the midwives want is what's best for you and the baby and breast milk is clinically proven to be better in clinical trials.
my wife plans to breastfeed but she also plans to express her milk so i can help feed our baby and she can go out or get a good sleep in.0 -
How exciting, slscarborough! But I hope your MS settles down soon.

Candygirl at least if your DD breastfeeds then she will have more responsibility to rely on herself, not like you can do it for her! (BF that is)
I dont know the whole situation but it doesnt sound fair she is with you if you are caring for your Dad. Lots of us have been single Mums without family support! Maybe you are worried she will demand too much, you will have to put your foot down, set out clear ground rules from the start.
Don't put her off the breastfeeding, both of you have a lot of negativity to deal with right now! That could be something positive. And the beginning few weeks IS hard but it is supposed to be!
Best of luck to you all;)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Hi everyone
I hope you are all doing well.
I am absolutely shattered at the moment,(14+2) I feel lethargic and can barely drag myself out of bed. If i'm being perfectly honest with myself I am feeling a bit depressed! There are so many changes going on at the moment and I just feel I can't cope with them very well at the minute. I would love to just hibernate until everything has settled down. I usually love change, must be the hormones.
On a positive note, I think I felt baby last night 'light bumping' inside my tum...It is my 3rd so not impossible.
Hope you all stay well
