Banks May Steal My Money! Help

Having been monitoring the Cyprus fiasco where the elite are stealing depositors money from their bank accounts I had always suspected that it would happen here too in the UK. Just recently I came across the article below and it seems that stealing our money has been long in the making.

"The Confiscation Scheme Planned for US and UK Depositors"

Now... I was wondering where could I move my money to a safe place within the UK where I can still have my wages paid in and be able to set up direct debits/standing order etc.

I was hoping that there was some other service that acts like a bank but isn't if you know what I mean.

Thanks.... sorry if I have posted in wrong forum.

Really? Why not? It will make almost as much interest there as it will in the bank.

Well for one I have too much money to just stuff under the bed besides it isn't what I call secure. I was hoping there was another option...... something like a post office maybe but not sure on how that would work. I need somewhere that is secure and safe from the hands of the $ankers.

I noticed that you said no to the poll.... Have you actually looked up on what they have discussed at the G20 Financial Stability Board? It is clearly on the cards that what has happened in Cyprus will happen here.

Or if your sock draw fails, can always put it in your bra - safest place I know, away from the hands of those bankers

If you don't want to put it under the bed(and belive me I bet it would fit unless your racking up millions :-) ) and you don't want it in a bank then go invest it somewhere...go hop over to thier board and ask them where to stick it all.

You could give it to the Government or the Treasury in the form of National Savings & Investments or, err, the Post Office, so much more trustworthy than bankers
