Assuming you are using Windows, which version? (In some versions you need to enable the telnet interface first).
Assuming Windows 7 and telnet is enabled ...
Click on the Windows key
In the Search and program files box type in telnet IP-Address and press Enter. (IP-Address is the address of your router; e.g. 192.168.1.254)
In the new window that opens type in the username* (e.g. Administrator) and press Enter
Type in the password* and press Enter
You are now in telnet and can try the commands I suggested. However I DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE COMMANDS ARE CORRECT FOR YOUR ROUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So caveat emptor and all that.
* The login details are probably the same as what you use for the web interface of the router. The command to come out of telnet is quit or exit. (I can't remember).
Command's don't work so will have a google around and see if I can find them.
Will let you know. 0 -

Actual image:

I'm not sure but ATP> as the telnet prompt looks odd. Is that the login name you used?0 -
Nope, was told username was default (admin) and the password is the web administrator password you set.0

{Administrator}=>ip config Forwarding enabled Sendredirects enabled IP options enabled NetBroadcasts disabled Random datagram IDs disabled Default TTL 64 Fraglimit 64 # Fragmented packets 0 Defragment mode enabled Address checks dynamic Mss Clamping enabled NAT Loopback enabled ARP cache timeout 900 sec ARP class 12 IP acceleration enabled {Administrator}=>That's what I get when I telnet into my router (TG582n) and do the ip config command. Note the {Administrator}=> prompt.
You really need a CLI manual/guide for your router to understand what is possible. Given that Cisco have (or threatened to) sue Huawei for intellectual property theft, then it's possible that a Cisco modem/router CLI reference might be relevant.
