    Just a quicky ;)
Guinness goblets (I said gobLET Patty!) are back in stock, but I would be quick before the pop it back onto 10 ways.
I think I worked it out that they are cheapest if you buy 9 cases.
Good if you need them, of if you do car boots.

Yes I agree. I m not all that pc savvy having only decided to learn a few years ago. I do try to find things myself but don't know any easy way too and it can take ages. People are helpful on here when I have asked and I like to think I help them by mentioning things I hear about. It s all about give and take isn t it and the odd bit of flirting with the illusive David. I think I must have frightened him off though as he s hardly on lately :( . Guess I m too much woman for him :rotfl:

I find I am with you on this one ,and sometimes if an opportunity to go shopping arises, I try to make a list, trying to remember the items I need from the posts. However I think the person that mentioned taking a picture on the phone is a very good idea and one I will follow from now on .
No 1p chocs for me and no scanners in store,so have not paid too much attention to the debate.

Very brave buying four different products that you knew would DTD? I have only got one product (up to 4 joints ... Though thinking out loud I got four different Disney DVDs :o) and thought I was chancing it at that, but worked on the basis that they were likely to remove the SEL or sort it so one chance to get DTD.

Pricing/product range does seem to differ between some of the superstores/Extras on odd products, but I think some are particularly slack at keeping SELs correct :).

:( actually only just started getting DTD meat since Easter. I got 4 pieces of meat - same as you only mine are different joints - thought that less obvious then 4 of same tbh. But yes I couldn't believe so many were overpriced but they were.... Working on the basis as you say that you get one chance - I cannot get out again to repeat later on or the next day, nor do I live near enough to whoopsy. So gave it a go - posted here as soon as poss.:o Probably 4 weeks before I am back in that supermarket - when they will all be gone.

So yes have caught the DTD bug to some extent - not sure about brave tho - just that one time til you can next get out. I wasn't sure at first but seen posts on here and feel better by viewing it as doing them a favour - as they were constantly prosecuted for over pricing - every DTD means they now know and can put right should they chose :D. Also when an overprice noticed - they never remove all products and change to cheaper price. They remove the cheaper SEL and then change product price when they want - no pity for the customers in the meantime inadvertently purchasing double the price items.

Last year I lost my job and got diagnosed with cancer all in 6 weeks - so, despite working for 30+ years and always having sickness cover as part of my employment, missed out on sick pay (got 2 job offers day after diagnosis). DTD means we can eat decent meat and have family roasts.

Does feel like could be a displacement activity tho - feel like Robin Hood. Possibly a good job I don't live nearer......:rotfl: But have run out of freezer space.

    Hi everyone,

RL has gotten in the way again, so mainly been lurking and catching up when possible.
Good news though I have my first job interview on Friday.!. Any tips? Its for Edinburgh Mill

    Hi there,

In addition to what annoying user has said, I'd concentrate on being yourself, being calm, being honest and above all showing a real interest in the job, the interviewer and the company they work for. Find out a bit about it and have your questions ready for them at the end. What's the role involve. Who will you be reporting to? How do they monitor your progress etc?

Above all remember to be confident. Get than confidence from planning your attack so-to-speak.
