I was doing 2 shops today. One to get a PP and then a 2nd to get DTD
I went to use the PP from shop 1 on shop 2 and SA said it wasn't valid until tomorrow
(They do say valid from next day but they scan immediately if the SA is willing/doesn't care)
thanks a lot will just try , pick sa carefully and if not keep them for next time,0 -

Can you all stop talking? Go off and have a nap or something.
I'm not back until 5.30 and there's only 300posts left until the end of the thread. And I'm soooooooo excited:T:T:T

I've quite a few that need spent by tomorrow as well
I've got 21 wombles that I've printed and 12 that I will print when I've used some of the others.I usually look them up and then save till I need them(the glitchy ones I print straight away).I use mine in date order but because I went on holiday had to give about 30 quids worth away. They were gratefully received.0 -
Yes I agree. I m not all that pc savvy having only decided to learn a few years ago. I do try to find things myself but don't know any easy way too and it can take ages. People are helpful on here when I have asked and I like to think I help them by mentioning things I hear about. It s all about give and take isn t it and the odd bit of flirting with the illusive David. I think I must have frightened him off though as he s hardly on lately
. Guess I m too much woman for him :rotfl:

I personally do not have an opinion either way about how much of an item anyone gets. Given the community spirit on the elite, I’m sure a lot of things are given to friends, relatives, food banks, homeless shelters etc. We should also remember that there has been a recession for quite some time now and some of the elite might choose or need to sell glitchy items to feed and clothe their families.
When it comes to last night’s debate about giving everyone everything on a plate or not, I have to admit I am ‘old school’ and remember when the Elite started after the days of DTD a couple of years ago. This was meant to be the chatty thread and I’m sure an equivalent bargain posting thread was created at the same time. The elite seems to have won the battle and the thread is still here with bells on and the other seems to have fallen by the wayside. I think, like most of us that the info is freely available to everyone quickly and easily and it is not too much to ask people to read back a few pages, after all, the rest of us have to (apart from perky of course!!):D
When I talk about sense of community, consider this. When any of us find anything glitch, anything cheap, or when we nick something from the dark side or 10Ways, where do we post it? Do we post it on Grabbit or do we always come here to our cyber buddies?
End of SFSB’s waffly post. (Better be careful, I’ll be getting compared to ShortFatSavvyBuyer if I keep this up):)

sorry Anon, the net cost is £10 plus fillers.
Yes, this shop cost £10 plus fillers. For the next shop I have £6 of free shopping due to the pp - I can either account for the £6 on my original shop (so in effect it cost £4 plus fillers as I said) or that shop cost £10 plus fillers and my second shop cost £6 less than it would have done without the pp. As I said, so long as you don't double count it should work out - where it doesn't work is if the pp is generated by a non-glitch shop, as you are overpaying in Ts for your products that are cheaper elsewhere and it therefore only price matching.
Unless I have misunderstood?
