Yes I do. Thanks for that.

Anyone about to help me get a Parioli voucher to use??

If you locate the thread which expired on 31/03,think it was the Eggstra one, search Parioli, you'll find a post by EdinDevon? who put together an A4 sheet of 6 vouchers on one page. Will try and find if I have time.

EDIT : Ed any chance you can do if for Bavaria Shandy, I'm useless at those things ?

may i ask - do you work in tescos??

NOOOO, they're nothing to do with me, nor are T's. I'll eat choccy, but not overly keen on it. The one's I've found so far have/will mostly be given away.

How funny, I have literally just made a batch for my daughters school cake sale tomorrow. I must admit I added syrup and some butter and the chocolate looked awful, so I beat the hell out of it quickly added the rice crispies and now have 21 cakes ready to sell. I only added the syrup and butter as the girls said they tasted nicer, but they're only 4 and 5 so to be honest I think I will follow your method and just use chocolate from now on.

Unfortunately no 1p chocs for me so went to lidl for their cheap chocolate bars.

Happy bargain hunting to you all.

:rotfl: This made me laught - glad its not just me - tho I can swear I made some in the dim and distant past and that it worked Ok (maybe I forgot the butter), but did wing it with the syrup.

I know that if you get water into the mixture it will make it go like it did but thought I was ok with sugary syrup. What a hardship eating the mistakes ...... Funny tho I can cook most thinks but if I'm going to make mistakes I am ashamed to say its with chocolate crispy cakes - :o.

Remember trying to multitask with DS in high chair, DD asleep, washing pots and making crispies. Decided to do microwave melt method checking every 30 seconds -omg - smoke started pouring from microwave - plastic bowl had little rubber feet I'd never noticed before and whilst I thought i'd used it safely in microwave before I obviously didn't. 2nd attempt chocolate coagulated and managed third attempt - I was determined to manage it. DH cam in to chaos and a manic mum. DS was highly entertained tho ... kitchen stank ...the smell of burning rubber (reminds me of a song - Statue of Liberty was it the Ramones ..? No smart remarks the 2 Daves;)).

I usually stick to chocolate muffins now ....:rotfl: In fact off to make some - DD on school trip tomorrow and DS off on a cycling camp out with scouts - all scouts are under orders to bring a cake for sharing, that's a lot of cake guys - but better than sweets I guess....

Add me to the list of 1p virgins, I don't have the nerves to try and go through the till if I ever did find one (I think I'd actually throw up in the bagging area!!)

I think they must know someone who works there to get that lot through. They scrutinize everything in my store. They don't even let you use 2 parioli coupons at a time on a manned till.
