What are people buying along with the D'Abruzzo?

I've seen post saying 2 choc puds, but obviously didn't take enough notice at the time. Are the 2 chocs counting as 1 pud & 1 side to activate the meal deal? While comparing favorably?

The OH has decided she is craving (DD2 due in 8 weeks) the T. Finest Lemon & Herb chicken and I don't really wanna pay the full £5.50 for them individually!

If you buy the wine with the chicken, you can then get 2 pudds rather than 1 pudd and 1 side, so get

1 wine
1 chicken
2 choc pudds + fillers
this will give you a pp of £6.00ish depending on your fillers.
The tiger 800g loaf compares well too if you are needing bread.

Yes, Montepulciano wine, 2 x hot chocolate melt puddings (instead of one pudding and one side) plus main (bought British roast chicken pies), plus fillers - pp around £6 against Ms.

Fillers - bananas (same), apples (goodness apples 9 pack gala, £1T/na at others), 3x4pint semiskimmed £3.87/£3, etc.

I can confirm Thatchers is still working

1. if you can find it and
2. the store hasn't corrected it themselves

I found 3 this morning all great paid for no problem
onto the next store and scanned at £36 :eek:
needless to say I forgot my purse!!
