Im off to bed folks. Tonight's read.....of mice and aliens ( an Asperger's adventure) :o last nights book was read in the early hours and discussed this evening:o

I like this one......of mice and men is my favourite ever novel! I hope there's some comparisons somewhere. That would be a good discussion. I have to say this read a book ( both me and DS2 read the same book seperately) and discuss is very successful. We are actually having meaningful conversations :) Recommended to me by our speech therapist for anyone with communication difficulties. Try it if that's you

Im actually going off to bed excited to wonder what we will talk about tomorrow.

    goodnight :)

Night missus, I'll be going up myself in a moment or two.

  • There is far too much paranoia and selfishness on this thread. If I was new or a lurker I would understand, but I am neither. Some of us just don't have time to read through hundreds of posts daily but do like to look for glitches when we eventually do get the opportunity. Most MSE'rs won't be reading this thread. It's got loads of woffle in it for starters! So whilst I may be a rarer poster than most, as I have stated before, I am known to one or two regulars and would like to help where I can. I'll ignore and rise above the goaders on here as they get everywhere, not funny, not clever, not original.

Scamps I didn't know your situation, but there are lots of T's around. You helped one person local to you at a car boot, I can assure you I'm nowhere near your patch. No Thatchers or 1p chocs evident in Bar Hill or Kettering today.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

Is that with DS or us?:rotfl:

I read some Steinbeck many, many years ago and enjoyed the books. Would like to read them again sometime to see if being older and wiser? changes my perspective.

To be fair, I dont think the majority are trying to goad Chris, they just dont have a list handy. I know I gave up looking for them after the first list (the one that was posted earlier by someone) and never found anything, which is part of the norm for my tescos. I do know you post here quite frequently, and if I had a list, you would have received help, but unfortunately, I am not in a position to help, and I think that may be the same for others here tonight.
