Just reading back and I saw this. Angels, have you considered travelling abroad to eg somewhere like this ? http://www.germanydent.com/dental-travel-germany.html

In my experience German healthcare is excellent, and substantially cheaper than private care in the UK. As Munich is the home of BMW, you could pick one of those up too while you were there. :D

Hehe! There are several options that I've seen since researching it. There are holidays to different places but many do rely on you having a good bone structure already, and if not, you often need a return visit. I've no idea what mine's like. It does reduce the cost for a full set from the £32K I quoted to around £15K (including holiday drinks :D).

As for the German cars - I grind the shafts (to prove the machines that they buy) that go in the engines and seeing some things, I'm not buying an Audi or VW for some time! :rotfl::rotfl::o
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

LMAO! I've always wondered why people believe in such things. Why would a bird sh*ting on your head ever be good luck

Have to big this wood stain up. £5.99 for 9l. I've done our step handrail, wooden bridge and our trellis bench so far this week and I've still got over half a tub left. It dries to a lovely dark oak colour :D

I have to say anyone who is painting outside to consider sikkens paint. We bought it for our fence - trellis etc and painted 4 years ago and have never had to touch it ! All our neighbours are repainting every year and I hated the painting never mind having to do it every year ! I know this paint is expensive but is the cheapest in the long run ! I swear by this brand of paint!

Can anyone tell me the payment runs for quidco? So they pay every few months or weeks? TIA

    Hi Caz :)

Also has anyone else noticed that the toys that were reduced have gone to full price again? I was so pleased to see the shelved bursting with the reduced toys only to find new updated sels and the toys scanning at the higher price - boo !

I don't mind JLS, wouldn't obviously volunteer to go if it wasn't for DD, she is bringing a friend - I might take my kindle :p.

I am having the best fun though winding up DD by constantly getting their names wrong and saying I'm going to shout and wave at them :D

I think my DD is secretly relieved that Im not going :D Friends mum is a good 10 years younger than me so obviously cooler and trendier:cool: as Ive had pointed out to me on many occasions :rotfl::rotfl: usually when the 'no' word is involved

    Hi Caz :)

To be fair, by far the best is Creosote but it's now banned (carcinogenic). Those with a good stash of it should be fine. Soak fence posts in it and they'll rot long after you have!

Creocote is the substitute for non-professionals but is causing problems for chicken keepers; the original creosote killed redmite. The replacement stuff is eco friendly, but not as good unless you mix it 3/1 with diesel.
For fence posts or shed floors engine oil is better and longer lasting.

Remember when you change your engine oil( or the garage does) ask for the old stuff.

This year, Matthew, I shall be using Creocote with 1/3rd Diesel! :A
