Thanks VT . I didn't exactly ask....more like had to show I could excercise some head over heart decisions if needed. Won't go into the side effects, but they come and go. The rest of the time he's OK...as ok as it gets.

As for September, Im going on it! It is a selfish illness (not intended) and I fully expect a relapse because he will think he can't cope for 2 and half days a week on his own. We've talked about it on his more lucid moments. But I need to do it......Im going mad not having anything to do. Besides anything else, I really feel the balance in the relationship changing when he's like this. I feel like Ive got another kid to look after :( I know that sounds selfish :o

anyway you get the gist.....sorry for going on :o

Come september you go for it. Its part of your life dream and I think you know you will be the only wage earner and this is all part of the master plan.
If you need mh to do more at that time then maybe they could supply at home support for your oh so you can get on with your dreams.
You already know you will have to plan round your ds2 in the form of continuity.
It might be possible that mh will be able to supply help for you and it might be totally possible that your oh will be just fine on his own. He can have nice long lay ins to help time pass.

The 'living in the present ' therapy does sound like a good thing and was something I taught myself 5 years ago.
I now go into the garden and smell the grass, listen to the birds ect and art came from me sitting back and taking note of the busy bees around me and knowing I can't live my life like that anymore.

On a totally unrelated subject, I need photos of alcohol signs, neons ect for a project I am doing and big brother seens to have done a number on the internet and they are proving hard to find. Looking for promotional type signs see both inside and out of bars. Getting desperate and don't know where to look. Prague online photos no good as want english signs.
    Any help greatly appreciated.

Again - I suspect it works with most people. They get a coupon saying they've "saved" so much (helping reduce their likelihood of going to shop elsewhere as they believe they're making a saving or, at least, that they couldn't get it cheaper elsewhere because they think all stores are roughly the same price on everything)... AND they now get a 'free' gift as well (for paying over the odds price per unit wise on a size of an item that wasn't comparable to elsewhere, who had a different, more expensive in the store they shopped at, size of that item far cheaper).

I doubt most people really care about "paying over the odds price per unit wise", as, not only does that term confuse them, they just want it quick and convenient, believe it takes too much time to sort it out or shop around and these PP and similar schemes assure them that, even if their bill is more expensive, at least they'll get the difference back off their next shop (which of course they must do in the same chain) so they've no need to go elsewhere.

By "most people" of course, I mean everyone who isn't reading or on this forum.

I might be at odds with the norm but I prefer shopping at Tesco(or Sainsbury) rather than Asda even if it is more expensive. Our local Asda is one of the very large modern stores but it is so dingy and overbearing that I just don't feel comfortable in there. The aisles are much narrower than in my T or S and the displays are much higher and appear to be dexion. I also don't like the colour green as it always makes me feel cold.:(

I am feeling almost back to normal today breathing wise thank goodness so mood definately lifted :D It's really been getting me down so can totally sympathise with Flo as hers has been going on even longer :(

Know what you mean about liking the house presentable when people are coming. That was why I was so cross with OH at the weekend inviting DS1s little friends and their parents over. The house was a complete state and I'd just about got used to being able to tolerate it myself but couldn't stand the thought of other people seeing it that way :o I was quite comfy in my joggers in the mess but then felt I had to make at least half an effort even though I felt shocking. Daft really. How does the saying go 'Those who matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter' ;)

I know it's crazy but it does matter. The number of times OH would say 'oh xx and his wife are popping over in a minute' - cue mad frantic [STRIKE]screaming[/STRIKE] tidying up, all the while shouting whenaretheycomingwhattimedidhesayhowlonghaveIgot :D

In fact only yesterday one of my best friends rang me and said are you in, I'm only a couple of minutes away - I still felt the need to have a quick zoom around even though she

Madness but we feel the need to do it nonetheless :rotfl:

Oohh.. surprise!! Bird's E Chargrilled Chicken 6 per pack at £2.00 are quite good price per unit in A. And apparently N/A elsewhere, so, with care, can be used as a filler on an APG shop. (Or just buy with one of your small wombles.) Though whether they're better than 10% cheaper than M's price on the 24 Breaded Chicken Dippers (£1.52 M) I'll leave you all to work out.

I saw the price promise bingo thing in store today.....and what should be on the table as a prize?? Only 5 boxes of 1p chocolate!!! Needless to say I left with them in my trolley!! The cheek of it, trying to pass them off as a great prize!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: do reckon they ever banked on someone buying off the prize table!

    That's personal preference and fine.
But it's not about moneysaving! (Useful contribution though, as enables this reply to it and all helps in the good debate...)! I've absolutely no allegiance to any one store, just seeking to get the best possible price. It may come across that I'm an A supporter, but that's because their 10% always makes it, in effect, a better price on any grocery item available there when any competitor goes low priced on it (in the right basket of 8 items etc.).

The thing I have with T is that they always seem to extract more from me than I intend - and it's always a constant (and somewhat exhausting at times) battle of wits and try to stop it, with changing goalposts and T&Cs that disrupt my plans and see me giving them more of my money. Personally I don't get that problem with A or S. At least with Sains., I've known where I stand, even if I have to spend £20. And the free adpoints make it better. With T's incursion into extra CC points via FB, it's tempting... and especially as it's a round 250, 500 etc. that can be easily paid out in the next CC statement. But I've had so many experiences of CC points not appearing, and T appearing to delay them as long as possible - loyalty points effectively are an interest-free loan (by me, to them) and I'm not willing to let them have six months (or sometimes more!) on it than up to 3 before I can spend them.

After reading this, any T spies who might be reading will probably reduce the extra points to 499. Thus requiring another spend from me. After everything else in the last two/three years I've gone through with them, no thank you very much.
