I've been playing too and it seems to see main, side and two wines as a deal....do we reckon this would work in store as well?

I would go and try it but kids in bed and DH not home yet and I don't think he will be home before 10pm:(

My 3 chimps all had 'perfect' teeth so that's a relief.

While we were there, spotted this interesting story:

Mushrooms can provide as much vitamin D as supplements - but only if you put them in the sun before you eat them

Mushrooms transform UV light into vitamin D
    • Sun-exposed mushrooms are as effective at boosting and maintaining vitamin D levels as supplements are
    • Have to be in summer sun for 60 minutes to produce vitamin D - cooking doesn't reduce the vitamin level
Mushrooms exposed to the sun can provide as much vitamin D as a health supplement, a study has found.
Researchers recommend people take the fungi out of their wrapping and leave them outside for half an hour before eating.
Much like our skin, mushrooms transform ultraviolet light from the sun into the vitamin and continue to do so even after they have been harvested.

Eating mushrooms could provide as much vitamin D as swallowing a supplement - but you need to put them in the sun first

The nutrient is essential for the immune system, strong healthy bones and teeth and the absorption of calcium.

    How to find them:
    1. Before you go to Tesco, note down the items you're interested in, especially the barcodes.
    2. These items could be anywhere in the store. Some people have found certain items in the chocolate aisle (such as the Toblerone) while others have found items in clearence sections. It varies with the store.
    3. Items are unlikely to be priced at 1p on the shelves. So don't be put off if they are labelled with a more expensive price. Check the barcodes - if they match, they should scan at 1p. If they don't, it may be worth testing it out at the self-service till or asking a member of staff for help.

Tesco told us: "Once the festive season is over, we gradually reduce the price until all the stock is sold. We always aim to offer great value, and if customers are lucky enough to find these products still in stock, they really are a bargain!”

Noticed on T.com that the Bavaria non alcholic and Bavaria shandy 6packs are to go down to £1.50 from tomorrow.
£1 off vouchers from T mag (also available online - link on coupon thread) are valid until 29/4 so only 50p for a six pack
    Hope this helps someone :)

    Evening everyone.

tinyshoes - I've "known" you for only a short time on here, and I send you all my best thoughts. I couldn't put it better than TrulyMadly already has. Take care.:A

To everyone, I've been lurking earlier tonight:eek:, but thought I'd update some of my personal lists and start look around for missing items on multibuys. I have also added some new items onto my T vs S list, and now moved it to page 1. A near-miss from the Tvs S is the Food Heaven Dairy & Gluten Free Cheesecake, but I've decided that £2.00 for 375g (the price in S) isn't that great a price per unit, so no thank you for me, but might be good if you have a dairy or gluten allergy.

I'm continuing to have a look, on and off, for various offers and will probably be back (other than a second post in a minute or so's time) on a new thread on Thursday evening (or very late Wednesday) with the start of a new Morries list. Till then, everyone look after yourself, and I'll see you again later then!:)
