    How to find them:
    1. Before you go to Tesco, note down the items you're interested in, especially the barcodes.
    2. These items could be anywhere in the store. Some people have found certain items in the chocolate aisle (such as the Toblerone) while others have found items in clearence sections. It varies with the store.
    3. Items are unlikely to be priced at 1p on the shelves. So don't be put off if they are labelled with a more expensive price. Check the barcodes - if they match, they should scan at 1p. If they don't, it may be worth testing it out at the self-service till or asking a member of staff for help.

So they can take it off you and keep it for themselves!!!!! Yeah, right.:rotfl:

    thanks.

I checked valentines day sleeved toblerone this evening, but still scanned at full price :(

I checked that one a while ago thinking the Valentine sleeve would make it a goer. It was either aau1 or COT posted that the barcode on the valentine sleeve is the same as that on the normal Toblerone so is unlikely to go to RTC:)

and this is even more weird

    [Savvy missing the point again...]

They are little b*ggers sometimes - so you've got £31+5+11 and they give you only 20 CC points!!

    (my emphasis)

Although (IMO) they are only "great value" at the 1p price and at all other times, not! Comparatively speaking anyway...

Patty I am with you on not wanting to spend 40p in T let alone £40 sometimes!!
