Yep. I read "The Fantastic Book Of Everybody's Secrets" by her. It's short stories. The first one starts with a couple returning from a night out to find the baby-sitter standing in the driveway looking frightened. She'd been glancing at their holiday photos which had been left out on the table . And she'd spotted something really really odd and quite frightening..........

This new book should be good. Let us know!

Thanks, this book is in the same style....I will definitely let you know if is as spinechilling as it sounds

I've got a BHS despatch email!!!!!

Really happy, it was for a new pair of shoes each for DH and I. We haven't had new shoes for at least two years as DH has been out of work and any money available for shoes and clothes has been spent on the children. It was starting to show, we both had holes/ soles coming off etc so I'm really pleased to have been able to get some new shoes for us. DH doesn't even know yet, it's a surprise- hope he likes them!

BTW, he has a job now, just a three month contract but hoping it will become permanent, so things are a little easier. Just bring careful in case the permanent job doesn't materialise.

    Hope the shoes fit.

Well done on your DH getting a job.

When my DS got his job it was on three month contract and within two weeks they extended it and over twelve months later he still there. They keep extending the contract. Think thats how jobs work now unless someone knows different.

    Oh Tinyshoes,

I think we all knew time was close but its always heart breaking
    to see the written word.

It's such a shock but, forgive me saying, sometimes such a huge relief. You could not keep going the way you were, it would be too stressful.
I'm sure she felt it was time for you to get on with your life. You have been a wonderful daughter and yes when the time is right we'll not only raise a glass for mam but a glass too for Tinyshoes.:A

TM I don't think anyone could have said it better. Thank you

My mum is now at peace. :A

Thank you to each and everyone one of you for all the support you have give me over the last year, especially to my friends on the night shift who I hope will help me celebrate my mum's life with a glass or two maybe later or sometime soon when I feel up to it. :)

Tiny, thinking about you and your family. As you have said your mum is at peace and watching over you. Count me in for the raising of a glass or two, when you are ready.
