Evening all

Logie, glad you're feeling better0 -
My mum is now at peace. :A
Thank you to each and everyone one of you for all the support you have give me over the last year, especially to my friends on the night shift who I hope will help me celebrate my mum's life with a glass or two maybe later or sometime soon when I feel up to it.
So Sorry to here of the loss of your dear mum x x ((( Big Hugs ))) to you x & of course well help you celebrate your mums life with a glass, when your feeling better, take care, make sure you look after yourself x0 -
Re MOTs etc
Best plan is to respect your local guys in a local garage.
They recognise a fair customer & give you a fair price for work that needs doing.
If you go to rip off places and treat them a bit disdainful, they rip you off0 -
Plus it doesn't hurt to slip them a few bottles of beer or wine at Christmas0

I've got a BHS despatch email!!!!!
Really happy, it was for a new pair of shoes each for DH and I. We haven't had new shoes for at least two years as DH has been out of work and any money available for shoes and clothes has been spent on the children. It was starting to show, we both had holes/ soles coming off etc so I'm really pleased to have been able to get some new shoes for us. DH doesn't even know yet, it's a surprise- hope he likes them!
BTW, he has a job now, just a three month contract but hoping it will become permanent, so things are a little easier. Just bring careful in case the permanent job doesn't materialise.
Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x
EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!0
