Been busy for a few days so not up to date with Finest deal. So 1 wine, 1 main, and 2 choc pudds plus fillers £5.99 PP. So what is the glitch?

Thanks to COT for the Finest deal:

the red wine montepulciano, 1 main, 2 desserts (no side) which have to be the melting in the middle choc pudds plus fillers. My spend was £13 and I got a £5.99pp.

There is another post by either COT or TrulyMadly I think where you get mini blossom hills and I think 2 Finest meals for a bigger PP, if you backtrack just yesterday I think it was talked about there. hth

Thanks again RN. It's sometimes difficult(for me at least:o) to understand why some people get so upset by empty words. Although I consider myself a very sensitive but very easy going person things that have gone on here haven't affected me in the slightest so can't hurt me. Sorry if my light hearted way of dealing with things causes others problems:o

The problem, artha and RN, isn't one of either of your doing. You shouldn't feel the need for embarrassed smiles. I too can take one hell of a lot of stick, and have had to in the past due, in part, to my own actions. The problem isn't how one person copes with something, it is that different people cope differently. If the thread allowed banter and all could take it, as meant, then I'd join in at that level, but it simply can't. There are no strict rules to adhere to and therefore it is necessary to attempt to be nice to all, except David. :D:D, until told otherwise.

Once a person becomes familiar, I'm all for the banter, but not everyone is. I do, therefore, think RN's policy is best and is the one I've been adhering to since he first pointed it out to me. :A
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

  • Didn't want to do anything yesterday as I was under the weather but I had to take my little one for his injections (he was very brave!) so thought I'd have a look for some bargains while I was out.

Glad I did! Managed to get 10 of those lovely big sparkly silver boxes of chocolates, 12 'thank you' cadburys boxes, a box of Thorntons mint collection 316g, bc ending 215430 and two of the London bus tins filled with chocs and toffee!

Can't believe they're still re-stocking the shelves with all the 1p stock, I took the last 5 buses last week yet they'd put 2 more out yesterday - mad!

I also got some girls wellies, size 5 (so would fit adults) for 4p yesterday that I'd not seen on here. They're beige with pink and black leopard print pattern and a pink ribbon bow on the back. Original price is £11, reduced to £5 scanning at 4p. Barcode ending 014861.

The 112 bars of mothers day chocs I got last week have gone to a good cause. A friend of mine works at a local school were one of the pupils mums died of breast cancer over the easter break. They're using the chocolates to bake cakes and treats to sell for cancer research.

I'll try and suss out how to post a picture of all my goodies later once I've been to see ruxpin for a catch up and chocolate trade!

Is there any way on here I can see if someone replies to me without looking through the thread? I put a post on a couple of days ago and I'd hate to think I'd ignored anyone if they replied!

    Happy shopping everyone :)

Hello lisastanners - good point I would like to know how to see my replies too! :)

A lot of our user ID's are genderless on here, so I think anyone being given s/he when they are he/she, won't be bothered.
