Sorry RN wouldn't want to cause anyone pain :(
The thought that anyone would have enough time to post as much as David./artha combined though made me :rotfl:

By my reckoning if we were one and the same we'd be getting an average 2 hours sleep a day:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Been busy for a few days so not up to date with Finest deal. So 1 wine, 1 main, and 2 choc pudds plus fillers £5.99 PP. So what is the glitch?
Read back and I understand now. Many thanks all.

Glorious day here so a morning of housework with doors open and an afternoon in the garden. Bliss. Will help relieve some of my stress what with Mum and DD all stressed out. My birthday SUnday so going to London Friday with DD and Sis. Staying at Westfield Stratford so bit of retail therapy there, then out to dins with DS and fiance to see pub where wedding reception will be and then Roman road market on Saturday morning and home. And a lovely lazy day on Sunday.

6.45am shop this morn and Finest meal deal at Mr T worked a treat again everyone, Monte red wine, 2 choc pudds, mains plus fillers, £5.99 pp back :)

I bought 2 meal deals last night with 2 Montepulciano and 4 small bottles of Blossom Hill and got a pp of £9 with a £20 spend.

Didn't the 25% off wine end last night?
  • We still have 6 boxes of weetabix, the 72 ones from last years cereal glitch at sada.

The kids are still eating the cookie crisps as they expire in August and the weetabix last till November, although they have already told me they don't like weetabix anymore :(, however I estimate they have 108 days of having 2 weetabix each before they can make such a statement :D, I wonder if the dog likes them.
Hmmm. I wonder if the recipe I have for muffins, which uses All-Bran would work as well with weatabix instead? Looks like you could replace up to half the flour with such cereals in most muffin recipes. Soak weatabix in the liquid used for 5 minutes before mixing it all together. Could be a nicer way to use them up. Maybe!?:)
I am not young enough to know everything.

Right it's off to bed for me...not that I've contirbuted anything for days! Honestly, by the time I catch up with you all it's time to sleep...could you all try to keep the noise down it's hard work:rotfl::rotfl:

Anyways wanted to say thanks to Squigs for the Clubcard thingy invite (DISCLAIMER - not official title) it was full but am on waiting list:) Hadn't heard of it before, am on a collecting mission to pay for some lovely tiles for my new kitchen:D

Oh and on the newbie/AE subject I am happy to confirm that Lisastanners is infact a real person, good friend of mine who is on MAT leave so has taken an MSE lesson from me and is now hooked hee hee!! In fact I am seeing her tomorrow, going to swap a Milk Tray 600g for a box of those fancy silver ones I haven't found anywhere:j

And I have a conspiracy theory about the 1p chocs....Tesco Diets. They will use clubcard info to see who is buying shedloads of choc and them stick them straight on the next email campaign to get new dieters......in fact where can I sign up???:rotfl::rotfl:

    Night all xx

Considering I've bought so much chocolate in the last two weeks (which I will blame you for although not complaining!) I think I've eaten less than I ever normally would. Maybe I'm just sick of seeing it in every cupboard, babies moses basket, top of the wardrobes...

I hear you, respect your position. It is one I hold in principle but practice tends to show that one person's fun is another person's pain.:( And even if you are not the individual involved being squashed, it is still extremely uncomfortable to be in and around that kind of scenario. Not my idea of fun, but you are right :) - it is not for me to try and dictate on any level what is or isn't appropriate here - was just meant to be a gentle plea :o

Laters peeps - as you were :)

Thanks again RN. It's sometimes difficult(for me at least:o) to understand why some people get so upset by empty words. Although I consider myself a very sensitive but very easy going person things that have gone on here haven't affected me in the slightest so can't hurt me. Sorry if my light hearted way of dealing with things causes others problems:o

    BHS order cancelled :(

Mone too email just arrived. Sent me a free del code and 25% off as apology which is good for me as i reirdered the canvas prints i paid full price for instore last week,
The art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have :)
  • Didn't want to do anything yesterday as I was under the weather but I had to take my little one for his injections (he was very brave!) so thought I'd have a look for some bargains while I was out.

Glad I did! Managed to get 10 of those lovely big sparkly silver boxes of chocolates, 12 'thank you' cadburys boxes, a box of Thorntons mint collection 316g, bc ending 215430 and two of the London bus tins filled with chocs and toffee!

Can't believe they're still re-stocking the shelves with all the 1p stock, I took the last 5 buses last week yet they'd put 2 more out yesterday - mad!

I also got some girls wellies, size 5 (so would fit adults) for 4p yesterday that I'd not seen on here. They're beige with pink and black leopard print pattern and a pink ribbon bow on the back. Original price is £11, reduced to £5 scanning at 4p. Barcode ending 014861.

The 112 bars of mothers day chocs I got last week have gone to a good cause. A friend of mine works at a local school were one of the pupils mums died of breast cancer over the easter break. They're using the chocolates to bake cakes and treats to sell for cancer research.

I'll try and suss out how to post a picture of all my goodies later once I've been to see ruxpin for a catch up and chocolate trade!

Is there any way on here I can see if someone replies to me without looking through the thread? I put a post on a couple of days ago and I'd hate to think I'd ignored anyone if they replied!

    Happy shopping everyone :)
