I am on the last day of a week of antibiotics, I thought I was picking up until Friday and then bam again.

FloFlo, I had something similar a few years back and it left me with asthma. At the time the doctor diagnosed a lower respiratory chest infection. I had the nebuliser at the docs,my blood pressure dropped really low and the doc wanted me to go to the hospital, but I didnt. It took two me 2 months to get better , but in that time I had to have two lots of steroid tablets and two courses of antibiotics. Perhaps you should go back to the docs in the morning to get checked out again.

Right - me & youngest off out :) Wasn't interested in the razors/shampoo, but if it is a glitch day those wombles will be very fruitful :D And rude not to gather in some Mullers and ice-lollies while I am there .....
Good thinking RN I was the same plenty of shampoo and I just take an angle grinder to DW when she is needing shearing ;)
Winces now and again but one disc has been good for 20+ years ;)

This is the recipe I use as it is quick and a lot lighter than a cloth one. If anyone fancies trying this out

    MICROWAVE CLOOTIE DUMPLING

    2 cups Mixed Fruit
    1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
    1 cup Water
    half pound Margarine
    1 teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda
    2 teaspoons Mixed Spice
    1 Dessertspoon Treacle

    2 cups Plain Flour
    2 Beaten Eggs

    METHOD

Melt all the ingredients together then add Flour and Eggs.
Place in a bowl lined with clingfilm and cover.
    Microwave for approx 14mins.
Leave to cool for 5 mins or so and turn out onto a plate. Delish.

Could do it, not even the thought of a glitch day got me moving. Rotten night last night, coughing every time I stirred, breathing poor again today and I am so worried about being off from work again this week coming. Feel like I'm letting everyone down.

I know exactly how you feel about letting everyone down - when I was teaching felt just the same and often went in very ill, eventually was forced to stay off by the Borough Medical Officer who signed me off after the Head sent me to see him, so had no choice.
Then wasn't allowed to return as would not sign me back on as fit and was forced to take early retirement due to ill-health at 43. That was back in 2000.
So look after yourself and get better before going back

Sorry for the moan, just feeling a bit down today - I have the never ending chest infection too, since before Christmas, have been told it will just eventually go.

Flo look after yourself is best for all in the long run. I had a wonderful teacher at secondary school but we once did 3 months without her as she had pneumonia - so struggling on and getting sicker is not best policy..... If you are still struggling see doc again and take the time to recover - lots of hugs :A:A

Sure its better you take one or two extra weeks now then go back and end up off for longer .....................
