Nannylala - I am sure you will enjoy York - it's one of our nicest cities (and very nice shops too);)

faireclaire - I don't know how you have so much energy with so little sleep :)

Finally caught up so I'm off to get my breakfast now which will consist of an assortment of mainly 5p delights eg doughnut ( softens if put in microwave for 10 seconds ) strawberries. I always feel sick when I'm hungry so have to do something about it, we'll that my excuse anyway :D

I noticed that. Shame really but each to their own I guess:cool: I do miss some of the former regular contributors but a new crop is always coming along to keep things fresh and give new direction/viewpoints/life experiences but most of all for me a sense of humour:)

I remember that, I thought it was absolutely smashing :)

I showed OH at the time, he went a little bit pale then started mumbling in Polish pretending not to understand :rotfl:

Thinking of you logie hun :A :A You are an inspiration to us all :A
I really really wish these so called secret groups on FB lived up to their name - why does it keep overspilling on to here?

I don't belong to any FB groups and would be very happy if what happens on tour stays on tour - what on earth has it all got to do with MSE? A lot of the posts on here about FB are kind of snide and back-bitey and leave an unpleasant taste - think we can all do without that?

I realise it is only one or two who keep raking it up, but isn't it time to stop banging that particular drum?

I will hunt out glitches and post up bargains and deals as often as I find them and personally I choose MSE as the platform to do that because I really rate MSE - but I have absolutely no problem if stuff is posted elsewhere with or without credit, in the same way as I will take up a bargain posted on HUKD or anywhere else without getting in a tizz about where it originated.

Let's keep it simple, grab those bargains and save the pennies :)

Such a good post RootedNomad, couldn't agree more

For me, MSE is my' home' and I do hope that it will always be so. All this FB business is a distraction to what MSE means to so many of us. Yes, I am on FB and I am an admin on one of the groups, but my heart will always be with MSE for the fantastic community support it gives along with the glitches/coupons/bargains shared here. My friends on my MSE Diary and on this Elite thread have helped me more than I can ever say, and it makes me sad when things get stirred up on here

With so much going on in so many peoples lives, this thread should be a haven for them :(

Long live MSE and the fantastic Elite I say :j :j
