    Hey all,

Posted earlier then promptly fell asleep :o Had help yesterday but despite my best efforts not much of a rest and breathlessness getting me down. Inhaler not really helping so think it's the anaemia kicking in again. Will find out on Monday when I go for more bloods.
Sorry you've had a carp day logie, hope tomorrow is better for you. I bet your boys love having you back home :) although if they're anything like my DS you will get NO peace no matter what.

Mildred, you hit the nail on the head :p It's been one of those days where only Mummy is good enough. Sis put DS1 up for his nap, he just chatted to his toys in bed so after an hour and a half she got him up. He then climbed only me for a cuddle and fell asleep at something daft like 4pm  Cue one very grumpy boy at tea time and far too awake at bedtime.
Think he's just become a bit unsettled, by first my disappearing for 5 days and then the constant visitors to help :( Hopefully, as DH has the weekend off :j he'll improve with a bit of consistency.

Anyway, am now awake at stupid o'clock after having a night sweat and waking up drenched. Trying not to read too much into it. Will have to wait until scan for any definitive answers :(Can't lay upstairs in bed as brain goes into overthinking mode. So have got changed and come downstairs for a cuppa and catch up.

You sensible people are all asleep I guess :p so will catch up on some of the programmes I intended to watch on iplayer :)
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥

I really really wish these so called secret groups on FB lived up to their name - why does it keep overspilling on to here?

I don't belong to any FB groups and would be very happy if what happens on tour stays on tour - what on earth has it all got to do with MSE? A lot of the posts on here about FB are kind of snide and back-bitey and leave an unpleasant taste - think we can all do without that?

I realise it is only one or two who keep raking it up, but isn't it time to stop banging that particular drum?

I will hunt out glitches and post up bargains and deals as often as I find them and personally I choose MSE as the platform to do that because I really rate MSE - but I have absolutely no problem if stuff is posted elsewhere with or without credit, in the same way as I will take up a bargain posted on HUKD or anywhere else without getting in a tizz about where it originated.

Let's keep it simple, grab those bargains and save the pennies :)
    :T:T:T RN
I do add credit to hukd when I spot what I think is a bargain over there, as I would not want to mislead any on here into thinking I had found it ;) when quite obviously they had :T

Good morning :) looked out of the window this morning to find my beautiful magnolia tree had burst into flower:T and this always makes me really happy. My late DH bought it for me and it was all of 3feet tall back then ,it now is up passed the bedroom window and when it flowers I always brings back lovely memories of my DH:A

How lovely Nannylala . I am looking for a specific plant to put in the centre of the gravel I had put down in front garden. The plant was in the courtyard just outside his room in the palliative care ward and I pressed some flowers from the bush, which the nurse cut off for me
Good Morning 3Dogs sorry to hear about your dear mums passing. I have been away for easter so havent been about.
Hope you are okay as you can be

    .................

Thanks hun, nice to see you posting again :A
    .....

Not such a good day for me today. A close relative went into hospital last night and died early this morning. Not looking forward to telling the kids but I am hoping a film night with lots of treats and snuggles will help.

I don't think I will be up to posting later so if I don't join you all in the bar later, hope you all have fun.

So sorry to hear this DSG :(

    Back to catching up

What has finding glitches got to do with posting? I think DM,David. and I would be barred if our glitch count were examined relative to post count:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I could never post that many glitches :o

Wow - over 40 pages since midday yesterday to catch up on - took some doing so now off to bed me thinks.

Logie - :A keep on in there. Remember chemo stimulates a type of menopause so night sweat could just be one of those - exhausting tho aren't they? Will keep my fingers crossed its one of these and not an infection. Ban a certain Alicia Keys record and watch 'Bedtime Stories' - funny him in the car and car radio. Hugs to you and family.

SD what a lovely gesture - sure the little girl was made up with her pressie.

DSG - sorry re your loss

Hello and good night 3dogs and David.

Fairclaire and DM - sorry I missed the nightshift this pm... Fairclaire how did you get on with your wine shop? Can't believe your OH did same thing re the key with the locking nuts - at least you found yours ........ Looking forward to having my car back tomorrow - should be a sunny day....

Have a great weekend peeps ..

Morning all. I've given up fighting the insomnia, I'll be shattered today but I'll survive.

It was seeing the little girl's face when she was so upset that got me, looking at the woman it looked like she really couldn't afford to buy it at the price it was marked (I know looks can be deceptive but she was counting out what she had in her purse and taking things out of her trolley muttering about how it could wait until next week :().
I really felt for her, this had been me up until just over 2 years ago. I used to have to account for every penny and stick to the lists I made when shopping, I just wish I'd found you guys sooner as I just missed the big DTD glitch. Any spare cash we had after buying essentials went on bills or clothes for DS.
Thinking about it now I hope I didn't offend or embarrass her :o

SpirallingDown, your posts warmed my heart. :T

Sometimes we're just sent into other people's lives for a brief moment, and a seemingly small gesture can have a big impact on them. You did a good thing and that lady and her daughter will have appreciated your kindness. Should you see her again, do encourage her to join us. :A
    Hope is not a strategy.
