Just googled nappy cakes and there are loads of ideas. Its a fab idea for a new baby or christening.

Although I was also googling 'baby cakes' and look what someone made!!!!

Hi I make Nappy cakes and think that your first attempt is brilliant and your friend will love it. All my friends do when they receive mine. I love making them and roll the socks etc into a posy at the top. A very imaginative first attempt.....you'll soon get hooked! :rotfl: :T :T p.s anyone thinking off making one include a little bottle of something for mum as that always goes down well. Either alcoholic or a toiletry of somekind!

That looks great. I know people who make these and sell them and this looks just as good. I am creative but I've never attempted these yet, no babies due at the moment. I made a gift tin that I decorated for my friend at the beginning of the year that went down well . Sure it will be appreciated.

I am about to try to make one!! Not at all crafty, but my gp is pregnant and she is a fantastic person has been very helpful over the years and I think this will show her i care.
