Thank you so much'! Love my shiny new badges
  • So many new badges.... your profiles look lovely and colourful, especially yours Karona!

Keep the requests coming and don't forget to do a moneymakeover to see where else you can save and get a badge. Unless you earn over £472k a year and don't need to, it could be the best paid day of your life!

  • Thankyou for my badge Andrea I love it

I may pop back in for a new one as I am in the process of changing/doing a deal with TV Broadband providers. With the code on this site I aim to save quite a bit. If my current provider is not accomodating

Putting on my 'feel sorry for me' voice whilst talking to my current provider in the hope of a good deal there instead of changing
    Wish me luck

  • Hi again Badger

I have been shopping around for my car insurance. I then cheekily got back in touch with my current provider. I told them all the cheap quotes I was getting.

They then quoted me £190 for the year. Fully comprehensive, 2 drivers and all the extras I could have got

Thats £60 cheaper than last year :T

    Do I qualify for a badge ;)

    Thank you :D

I live with 3 other housemates and thanks to MSE's energy provider comparison tool I convinced my housemates to let me switch us from British Gas to First utility (over a year ago now) - and have so far saved over £400!!

    Is it badge worthy? :)

  • I used the 50 cheap wedding tips MSE guide to save money on our wedding 4 years ago. We ended up £2800 UNDER budget!! And people still go on about what a lovely day it was :D
This was before I'd signed up to the forum though, so does it still count as badge worthy?

I managed to haggle with the store manager of Tesco (felt like a right numpty with people watching lol) and got £35 off the TV my grandparents were buying! :-D

Aaaand... I've just had confirmation in the post of my tariff switch, thanks to the cheap energy club, my projected saving is £304! :D

Plus the Deals and vouchers page is my homepage at Xmas time, I've saved a small fortune :)

I'd really love some badges :)

    Thanks :D

Are we going to be getting the removal tool any time soon ?

    (what would Scooby Doo)
  • Hi barmonkey

No, we've had just a handful of people ask for badges to be removed so it's not going to be prioritised at the moment.
