Sorry if this has been posted before!
I have had two mortgages with Standard life and have just discovered I had PPI on them both which I did not want or need.
I want to reclaim the PPI however Standard Life Mortgages don't exist anymore as they were bought by Barclays so who do I contact to start my claim Standard Life or Barclays??
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Standard Life mortgages were typically retailed via brokers. So, you would complain to the broker. That is unless you bought direct. In which case you complain to yourself.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Why do you not think you needed it? If your income had dried up as a result of losing your job you would have lost your home.
The only circumstances in which there would be no need for cover would be a serving Police officer (who cannot be made redundant), living off a pension or owing a tent!0 -
:beer:Exactly my point I'm a serving police officer!!0
