credit search for existing customers?

I currently get a broadband only service from virgin media, and I keep getting flyers from them for virgin mobile. Pricing is favourable compared to my current o2prepay tariff.
If I were to request adding mobile service to my package, does anybody know for sure if I'd still be subject to the usual credit checks that currently prevent me getting a contract mobile?

yea they will do the credit check.lots of people who have had no probs in the past have come a cropper with them but i was fine.0
