If OP is stressing over simply having the board put up, watch this space ... they've got all the hassle of viewings to contend with yet!

To be honest with you, its probably out of the landlords control. Some EAs are relentless with those bloody boards.

When I moved into our rental property it had been advertised with two different agents. Every day for two weeks we came home to find that one agent had taken the other ones board down and put theirs back up. We took both boards down and put them way at the back of our garden and contacted them both to tell them to take them away. The next day both boards were back up and the cycle started again. I had to write them a strongly worded letter and threatening to report them to the council before they both finally relented.

The landlord said he'd asked them to stop, but they ignored him too.

Oops sorry has somebody else paid for and owns the property. You will be given notice of viewings.

There is reasonable behaviour and you know they are selling. Do you require access for the postman? They may deliver a letter for somebody else. You are a tenant and yes you live there. A board gives a telephone number of the agent so they don't knock on the door. You could always buy the property.
