dongles and prices

This is only a SIM. With these sorts of SIMs you tend to buy them pre-loaded and then throw it away and get another. So regard the headline price of the SIM as that for the data allowance.
If you have an unlocked mobile, or one locked to Three, then you may be able to use it in place of a "dongle". It wouldn't allow you to make calls; it would be simply for data.0 -
If you put something like <<mobile broadband sim>> into eBay, you will see SIMs that come pre-loaded with data. Again, I understand these to be throw-away once they're spent.
I can't vouch for them, so buy them and use them at your own risk!0 -

USB modem for item in post #10 to be found here for £9.99. But you'll need to unlock it as it is locked for use on T-Mobile. Codes available via eBay from 99p. Example
APN: 3internet
Username: [leave blank]
Password: [leave blank]
Dial number(if needed) *99#
If you can't cope with unlocking, you can just buy a THREE modem. Examples here and here.
I prefer to have an open modem, as, if one network does not have adequate coverage I can simply use another.0 -
ovivomobile.com sim costs £15 and you get 500mb free a month without topupDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I bought a payg T-Mobile dongle for £10, which is flexible because you can pay per day / week / month as you choose. When you try to access the internet, it takes you to a screen where you choose the option you want.0

Of course she can just purchase the modem in my post, but it will likely work out a more expensive option to use T-Mobile exclusively.0 -

Not necessirily, ive bought two dongles one from o2 and another from tmobile . Both were made by huawei and easily unlocked. The only slight issue is that somstime you have to flash the firmware in order to self manage the apn settings. Because on network branded os it makss it difficult.
The usb dongles i managed to unlock for free. The recent mifi services required me to spend around £ on an nlock code0 -

Why have you quoted my post and then given a totally unrelated reply??
Have you actually read my posts?0 -
What about a 'Sambamobile' dongle ?. They are quite different in that you 'earn' data by watching adverts.
Thing is, you don't have to actually 'watch' the advert, just have it running in one tab on your browser whilst you surf the net in another.Never Knowingly Understood.
