Went to my favourite lad today who will scan anything.

And guess what he said to me.

'Where do you get these vouchers from' So i showed him some so beautiful books that i'd picked up. And told him about h/b, quit and so beautiful.

So i said why do you remember me.

And i'd given him a token for a free packet of lurpack, he does look at the vouchers as he scans them. he said you've not bought any lurpack. As i'd only got about 6 items including the mosquito spray. Oh i forgot to get it.

So he scanned it anyway, another £1.19 less off my bill.
Then we had a conversation about the price of mosquito spray, with the lady on the next till joining in, i told her about the £2.50 of the so beautiful books coming off. She was pleased and said she will get some on her break. Didn't want to tell her about the others well you dont' want to spoil it do you.

See you next week i said to my nice lad as i walked away.

I've been thinking about getting mosquito spray but assumed it was under healthcare and I haven't done any of these shops yet. Could you let me know what brand youi have been buying as now I know it's under toiletry I will try it. Have you used the healthcare vouchers against it, I wonder if they will scan too.

Hi Kerry,

I have bought the 'jungle formula' green one and used the H&B coupons have not tried the healthcare coupons against it.
When I checked on website suncare/mosquito spray is classed under H&B

I am going to be getting perfume with my vouchers - will be nice to treat myself to something I wouldn't normally buy.

For my birthday today I had toiletries LOL still it made a change from the sanex, lynx, original source that I have stocked up on

I think they would be classed as baby care rather than toiletry or beauty

They are baby, and don't work with any of the H&B coupons. But if you've got all the available coupons you could end up getting them free with the excess from the coupons, IYKWIM.

Just back from Mr T and had my first REAL DISASTER

My normallay scan happy girl had put all coupons through and looked at the internet dog food one I had and said 'I'll just have to check this one' before I could say to her not to worry about it, she was gone.

Back she came with supervisor who then scrutinised my shopping going through all my coupons:eek: and extra points coupons.

She then said I had to buy what was pictured to get the money off when i told her it says ANY beauty or toilteries as written on coupon she wouldn't have it. I told her to give me back coupons and void everything and I would re-do my shopping another time. She then persisted to say I could keep my shopping and to void off all coupons and in future it was only ONE COUPON of any description whether it was a toiltery, beauty or health per shopping.:eek:

I smiled politely and said I would just take the food and cleaning products part of the shopping. She let me use a £2 unilever (impulse coupon) because I had purchased persil gel tabs:o

Normally in a situation like that I would have gone to pieces and got all embarrassed, don't know what it was today, but I didn't even get flustered.

Must be getting more experienced:D

Might do the H&B shops at another branch for a bit;)

Does anyone know when the Healthcare promos finish? I am finding the Sanategen 50+ excellent....knocked years off me I would like to get some more so that OH can take them too.

Oooh ....Also do the colgate actibrush replacement heads count as H+B ?
