i had an idea last night - buy a stack of JF and toothpaste , use those vouchers for them then also use the other H+B vouchers - has anyone done that or do the staff cotton on that you're taking the mick? :rotfl:

yes, done that, bought a bunch of JF sachets and a bunch of kid's toothpaste, total was just over £10, then use 40p colgate old quit and 40p colgate new quit for each toothpaste, JF 1.5 for each sachet, then a set of £10 HB combo (SB+HB+quit) with 5 x 50pts. went through no problem.

don't know how much surplus going to other shopping, can't get the maths right. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think she bought the small bottles of sanex on BOGOF. I remember someone saying the till takes off the cost of a large bottle. Would love to try this myself but my local store doesn't stock the small bottles.

Hi, yes my first H&B shop and I bought some Sanex the small one is £1.79 but the bogof takes off £2.48. So it brings the total down. I went yesterday but the BOGOF signs were not up, has this offer finished now? Its very exciting getting all these bargains - I am sad I know!!!

Another good shop for me, i'm not buying bogof at the moment cause dd is going to cuba, so i'm getting mosquito spray.

It costs £12 for 3 and it is the same price in boots, but i hand in

    1 x £2.50 h/b
    1 x £2.50 s/b
    2 x £1.00 h/b
    2 x £1.25 quit

    making £2.50 to pay.

Went to my favourite lad today who will scan anything.

And guess what he said to me.

'Where do you get these vouchers from' So i showed him some so beautiful books that i'd picked up. And told him about h/b, quit and so beautiful.

So i said why do you remember me.

    Yeah your my cupon lady.

And i'd given him a token for a free packet of lurpack, he does look at the vouchers as he scans them. he said you've not bought any lurpack. As i'd only got about 6 items including the mosquito spray. Oh i forgot to get it.

So he scanned it anyway, another £1.19 less off my bill.
Then we had a conversation about the price of mosquito spray, with the lady on the next till joining in, i told her about the £2.50 of the so beautiful books coming off. She was pleased and said she will get some on her break. Didn't want to tell her about the others well you dont' want to spoil it do you.

See you next week i said to my nice lad as i walked away.

    I'll be back.

Keep an eye on the toothpaste isle as in my local they were giving out miniature toothpastes and egg timers.
Apparently it is National Smile Month or was as it ends on the 13th June!

If anyone manages to get one of these egg timers spare (would pay p&p of course) or knows where I could get would from could they let me know - would be great for a 7 year old who thinks all she has to do is suck the toothpaste from the toothbrush and then give them a little brush!!!!

If anyone does the Shoebox appeal at Xmas, they always ask for toothpaste to be included, so getting the Tesco kids toothpaste and using Quit Pack 40p off Colgate on them makes it a cheap way to stock up for them. I'll be putting a couple of tubes in each of mine this year.
