I got 7 x vouchers for my impulse today too, do yo thik they will be picking these cans up?

I've just received another 6coupons which a courier was suppose to pick these tins up. This letter says at the bottom As as a reminder please do not dispose of your affected cans at the same time as it could cause problems if any of them were to become damaged. A maximum of two cans only should be disposed of at one time into the same outside dustbin.

Which I see as they will not be sending a courier for mine, so I can carry on using them. :j

I should imagine they didn't really expect as much responce on the recall so letting the smaller amounts go, as it will cost them more money to pick them up than it's worth.

:rotfl: Yes, I am a complete wreck before going to Tesco these days, everyone runs and hides becuase I bark and shout at everyone as I phyc myself up for Tesco. We have just one very good happy scanner at our Tesco who we have only seen working at the weekends so I have to try and get as much of the weeks essentiall grouceries plus the £10 health and beauty and £7 healthcare all in just two shops, one Saturday and one Sunday. Also to add to the pressure we all know good things dont last forever, the couponing has to come to a halt one day so I am in seige mentality filling every cupboard, fridge and freezer to the brim, no gaps anywhere and even leaving grouceries like cereal and loo paper stored in the back of the car for when the day comes and no more coupons are allowed.

lol! I get a bit nervy walking to the checkouts and sorting out my coupons! Some days I'll be in quite alot in the week, and see the same staff, and I think 'oh no, they'll be thinking 'here she is again'' lol!

I had a phone call from unilever today regarding my 33 cans of impulse.

I was told to box them up and label with the address I had been given and that they will be collected on Monday by a courier.

When I asked about my reimbursement she said vouchers would be sent out in the post.

Same here, a courier will call to collect them Thursday. And vouchers should arrive by post in 7-10 days. Keeping my fingers crossed it all works out, it sounds like they have gotten themselves organized now, unlike in the beginning when they were promising to call back etc and then didn't  .

Off to find a box now :D

Up until today I have always used SS tills at my local metro store, as all the SA's are miserable looking middle aged women and I've never had the nerve to hand over vouchers. Well, this morning I spotted a very young looking lad (didn't look a day over 15!) on a till. So I picked-up just over 10.00 worth of toiliteries and few other bits and decided to give the SS tills a miss today...good decision. The young lad took all the H&B and quit kit vouchers I gave him. He also, accepted my 2.70 Harpers voucher that wouldn't scan on SS tills. I also handed over a few points vouchers which he was happy to take. I paid 3.00 for 19.00 worth of goods. I was well chuffed!

I know I will never be quite as successful as Welshy and Leadhead, but I am very happy with what I got today. I have never saved this much money before, as SS tills always ask for authorisation when you use too many vouchers. I just hope the young lad is there when I do my next shop. Thanks for all the tips guys!

I was mystery shopping last night a hotel on my own so after tucking the kiddies up in bed and saying goodbye to Mr Welshy I booked into my hotel room. I put the kettle on, got my vouchers out, sorted them out, made a shopping list then decided to tesco at lunch-time today.

Unfortunately, my plans didn't happen as there were snipers on my office roof, police everywhere, marching bands and the Queen, Prince Philip, Charles and Camilla turned up in Cardiff Bay to visit the new Welsh assembly building. My car was stuck behind a security cordon so no tescos for me today.

I am hoping to visit tomorrow - DD1 likes the john frieda sachets
