Oddly enough I have not done a healthcare purchase before but hope this week to have both £2 off coupons so please can someone make some suggestions.

I've stocked up on condoms from Boots, no-one in our house is allergic to anything and we are building a nice supply of poo tablets so what else can I get that is on BOGOF. I dont suppose tampons and cotton wool are healthcare?

    Mary

lots of the vitamins are bogof(or were last week)and things like codliver oil. my dad takes these got him enough to last over 18monthes don't no about tampons ask at cs(prob best not to ask young male......)or do one shop with them if they don't go through get a refund

Yes, that really annoyed me. I did my calculations on the £1.94 price for Colgate that was on the origianal bog off list. They did the same with the John Frieda stuff, it was £2.98 at the start of the week, nearly £4 now. Both have current Tesco coupons What happened to ever penny counts :rotfl:

With this sort of attitude, anyone with more than one set of coupons should really go for, Tesco deserve to be fleeced with their own coupons.

    Mary

that is dishonest, those poor customers who did not keep an eye on the usual prices may think they get a bargain during bogof.

there was a programme on tv last week exposed t sells outofdate meat, the day after also revealed that asda does the same knowingly. kindof worrying with that sort of attitude. from now on, i will really check the colour and condition of meat when buying in t.

advice pls! actually got some leaflets yesterday & trying to plan a shop for things we will need & use.

hubby uses lynx showergel on bogof @ 1.88....
    buy 8 x 1.88 = 15.04
    use 2 x 1.25 QK + 1 x £2.50SB + 1 x £2.50HB = £8
showergels come to £7.52 after bogof so get 48p towards other shopping??

just read this back and it kinda almost sounds like i know what i am talking about!!

bought sanitary towels and panty liners regularly to make up the total. they were classified as "toiletry". suppose tampons are the same?

also bought cotton wool and cotton buds before to make up the total. they were classified as "beauty".

for healthcare, i stocked up on optrex eye wash, my mom used to make us used it after swimming, she said there are lots of germs in swimming pool that could affect our eyes and feet. i also stocked up on multivitamin, cod liver oil, and lemsip that is a shame never on bogof, i got them when there are plenty of healthcare coupons. not at the moment as there isn't any in my locals.

to make up the total for healthcare, i normally get the t anti-bacteria mini handgel £0.49, it is small enough to put in handbag and there is a children version too. OH also put one in the car, it is convenient when on the go and need to clean hands but nowhere near water and soap. or Halls sugar free original menthos £0.38, it tastes quite nice and clear the nose and throat when i have a block.

This sounds right, SA willing ofcourse. If you have another QK £1.25 you could use 3 as you are 'spending' £15 and get more money off your other shopping that way :D .

Three good suggestions to start a healthcare list off, looks like I need to spend the full £10 though.

Also some good items to top up a health and beauty £10 shop.

I've always counted tampons as toiletry and the vouchers have scanned OK.

Don't know if its any help to anyone but the 40p colgate vouchers seem to be scanning for any toothpaste (like the old quits did), i used 2 yesterday on the Tesco toothpaste on bogof.
