TESCO H&B COUPONS - New Thread *See First Post for UPDATES*

Ok really annoyed, no new Qut packs, no new Health and Beauty and only have the So beautiful becasue oif the kindness of others - this is a big hint so if anyone has spares please PM me!

So with the few relevent coupons I have I made my calculations so I could buy some Colgate and John Frieda. The John Frieda was £2.98 a few days ago when I went into Teco. I was so annoyed today to find it had gone up to £4 odd - what is the point of the coupons. I know that some stores have the £1.50 sachets but not ours and I think its a bit of a waste when I could have got the big bottles half price - the moral of the tale is dont hestitate if you see a good offer :rotfl:

Anyway I am going to add the £1,50 John Frieda coupons to my swaps list on paid to shop and the coupon swaps board so please come along and have a look at my list. I have loads to swap and a huge wants list. Next week is half term so I will be floating around a bit so if we sort a swop out now it will be done this weekend, otherwise next! We have a Sunday morning collection so you might even get swaps on Monday if you are fast.

My user name is mhoc. On the coupons swaps I am easy to find, the subject line just says mhoc updated May 26th and I am on the first page. On paid to shop I am back on page 3 and the subject is just mhoc swaps but if you just do a search for my posts I am there - promise I am well worth hunting down!

A note about the new Quits, i managed to get a full box today !!! on the lid it states they are vaild for display instore from 23rd May until 14th August, thought id mention this as even though they are valid untill 31 Oct they wont be available after the 14 August (you have 80 odd days to stock up) :rotfl:

Sorry people, but i find this annoying....................begging for coupons

Youve all got the opportunity to go to various sites

MSE do not allow swapping, and the begging letters are (imho) degrading.

Weve been warned by the mods before for this...........

Its not so bad dropping a hint, (of course using PTS/Coupon Swap)......via PM......but do we really need to do it this way.

This isnt meant at any one inparticular,

I love contributing to these threads, but would give up completely rather than watch it degrade to this.

Yes, Ive got every coupon going....but only because(through PTS/Coupon Swap of course) I sent out hundreds on IOU the last few times, without asking anything in return.......or am prepared to travel to get them......

Been away this week with some family stuff, was so shocked to see I had 71 emails, after sifting through the c**p and getting to mse stuff, was also shocked with the impulse stuff and the new quit packs (again). Anyway just so you know I cant be bothered to read everything so if I start asking stupid questions, forgive me, my mind is not quite right yet and theres so much stuff happened this week. Thanks anyway. Great to see I should have some free toiletries again, hoping the clothing thread is just as good.

Yes, I do have a swaps list on the coupon shops and pid to shop which I update reguarly with my extensive list of spare coupons and anyone who has ever swapped with me will tell you what a pleasure it is, very quick service and very often I send more than I promise. Shameless and I blow my own trumpet.

No I have not been warned by the mods on this forum but I only swapped on this forum a very long time ago before the other forums came along eg the Sainsburys £5 coupons which were very short dated.

(Incidentally when I had these £5 coupons I had a huge pile which no-one else had, I could not possibly use them in in such a short time before they went out of date. So I shared them out, got a few very useful coupons in return which I was thrilled with and in all I must have saved people about £200 that weekend!)

Sadly we are in a coupon dessert here as you can tell but we go on regardless with what we have. No I have only a very small proportion of the coupons around and yes in desperation sometimes ebay comes in handy.

I am afraid when a new set of coupons do come out it is envitable you will get a few messages asking for coupons in the first week or so.

Actually my message was really about Tescos annoying habit of putting the price up of its products on offer when a new coupon appears and it has done this on numberous occassions but this point seemed to be missed. I wnated to se eif anyone else had seen this happen, price fixing.

Ive done a car boot today with my excess tesco/boots toiletries, I came back with £371

had a great time chatting to people, kids had great fun taking money off them, a good day was had by all.

Best of it was cb didnt start until 12pm & I was back home by 3.30

thank you . good shop today, got 6 john frieda frizz ease hair serum sachet 2 x 3.5ml, £0.98 each, (the £1.49 miraculous recovery was on the shelve too, but the £0.98 ones are cheaper), 2 colgate toothpaste, 4 t. multivitamin, use whatever coupons i still have (thanks to a kind MSEr), plus the £2.30 DMs, plus the cc statement extra pts, they were all small value 25pts mostly, mostly went through but a few pointers got rejected, it was my fault because in a rush i thought i bought the item but actually i didn't, but one item i did buy the machine wouldn't accept the pointer, strange. i m too chicken to go the CS to add it on as the bottom printed coupon coupon coupon coupon coupon... :rotfl: :rotfl: lol

will try to use the pointer next time with a smaller shop and less coupons.

finally found a pump shoes for driving in summer, asked my instructor what kindof shoes can i wear in summer when driving, and he said he can drive bare feet, i don't think so. found this red pump peek-a-toe shoes with a ribbon on top, flattie with nottoothick sole, quite comfy when wearing without socks on, not a red shoes person but tried 3 stores and couldn't find my size in blue or brown, nevermind, red is good. £12 minus 20%, didn't bring the total to the magic 30/60 number as there aren't enough relevant coupons to combine with, nevermind.

also just found out the homestore is also 20% off, bought a knife and fork and were reduced 20%. yay... happy happy

no coupon found today in store, apart from the hayfever ones. asked pharmacist and been told none in store. will keep looking ... they can't hide them forever, can't they?

I sold radox b.bath/sure shower gel/lynx shower gel/ sure deodrant @ £1 each or 3 4 £2.50

handwash @50p each did start off at 3 4 £2.50 but didnt go too well

plax/ toothpaste/herbal essence /botanics shave foam £1.50 each or 3 4 £4

I only had tesco stuff / nappies Id got from tesco for the points & some boots N07 7 sun cream/ botanics creams.

We had loads of crates of it. Ive still enough left to do another cb, probably 2 more. So far the 2 cb's Ive done ive netted £780. If its ok on Monday I may do another as my helpers are still very keen
