I had a mixed day yesterday.

Was doing some shopping for nan and wanted to use my last two SB vouchers, and as she wanted some toiletries, I just topped it up with facial wipes.

    Sure deodrant: £2.38
    Palmolive soap: 88p
    2 x facial wipes (BOGOF) £1.49
    2 x facial wipes (BOGOF) £1.90

= £6.15 (after discounts as till takes £1.90 off both times with facial wipes)
SA was being a bit funny, but agreed to take majority of vouchers.
    Used:
    1 x £2.50 SB
    1 x £2.50 HB
    1 x £1.25 QK

(the £1 HB didn't work on shop below, so she didn't try with this one)

    Second shop

I'm so so annoyed!!! Tesco keep doing this!! They put the Dove pro age lotion with the rest that are on BOGOF which led me to believe it was BOGOF, it's only when I got home I realised! So I'm taking them back!

    2 x Dove pro age lotion £9.98
    1 x soap 24p
    Total: £10.22

    Used:
    1 x £2.50 SB
    1 x £2.50 HB

and two MOCS she wouldn't try the QK and the £1 HB wouldn't work, because it isn't toiletries! Silly me!

So not a bad shop, and lots of points from the food club but I'm just annoyed I was caught out with the Dove range!

I bought it and it smells ok to me, a little old fashioned like you said but quite nice, along with EA Sunflowers £5 (very nice, my fav so far) Lair Du Temps by Nina Ricci, not sure on that one yet. Cabotine by Gres, not sure on that either! Arden beauty by EA, beautiful fragrance!

All courtesy of Mr T, thanks Mr T :rotfl:

i think not all stores selling the same perfume, most of the above i never seen in my locals. EA sunflower is v nice, i bought twice before, not from t, from supersave when it was on sale. arden beauty should be nice too but again, locals don't sell it.

i still find it quite hard to use the £1 toiletry ones, we all have river of shampoo, shower gel, bath, hand wash, deo... face wipes are good but surely may look suspicious to throw a dozen in basket, need some creative combination. yesterday got 4 face wipes and 2 toothbrushes (didn't get the right guard as they are all antiperspirant). before got 4 toothbrushes and 1 kid's toothpaste (they take up less cupboard space). any new ideas?

Anyone know off hand how much the perfumes mentioned here are? I can't find them on the tesco website, perhaps they don't sell them with groceries. I'm off shopping soon, and do like to be organised with what I'm going to buy!!

u r right that they don't list this on website. it is harder to organise with such shop because u don't really know the price until u get there, and even if u find out the price of a specific item, when u get there, the store may not sell that one. not all stores selling the same thing. but as far as i remember, there are quite a few £5 and £10 ones, so just go for the easy maths.

    For people asking the price of this, the EA means Elizabeth Arden;

Ea Sunflowers (orange box) is £5 and smells lovely

EA Arden Beauty (red box) is £5 and smells lovely too

EA Blue Grass (white box) is £5 smells ok

Cabotine (larger white box) costs £10 not sure on smell yet

Lair du Temps Nina Ricci (yellow box) costs £9.95 so add something small, not sure on smell.

Hope this helps you all out :)

EDIT: just in case you find this info handy.

    Used
1x £2.50 HB on £10 spend (health and beauty voucher)
1x £2.50 SB on £10 spend (So Beautiful voucher)
2x £1.25 Quits on £5 spend Quit kit stop smoking voucher)

    So £7.50 off a £10 perfume or 2 £5 perfumes.

    Hi all

I had quite a good shop this morning (for a newbie)

    Got 2 x Aquafresh toothpaste
    2 x 1.49 facial wipes
    2 x Right guard deodorant

Total 11.64 = 5.41 after BOGOF kicks in and including the glitch on the wipes

    Used 1.25 QK
    2.50 SB
2.50 HB (now this is the question, is the HB the sheet of vouchers I found with the make up - I was expecting it to be a booklet lik SB)

Anyway it meant I ended up in credit of 84p !

I did mess up with some other stuff though - I bought 4 x Hipp baby food at full price to get the points, but didn't use the voucher (also realised afterwards that I didn't have my cc with me anyway so sa wouldn't have taken it)

I felt really furtive though the whole time I was shopping - I also had my 5yr old trying to spend his £2 pocket money and my twin babies so I had to be quick...

I am going to go again tomorrow to get the last day out of the SB (a different store though - I probably stand out like a sore thumb with my rabble !!

Hope you are all having a good day and thanks for all the tips...you are all stars..:T

I bought this at the pharmacy counter, with a JF 98p sachet using the £1.50 coupon, so saved another 52p on top of the SB, H&B & QP coupons.

You may all be interested in this thread (if you haven't found it already) if you have lots of old clubcard vouchers at the back of the drawer...
