Open 2 isa?

hi,

currently ive got some money in a santander isa opened last year, since all the transfer rates are rubbish i wondered if i could open a new one and transfer it all in.

but i also was to open the coventry bs one too, which doesnt allow transfers, id put this years allowance in it

Is this allowed?

Yes. You can open one isa to transfer all your previous years cash.
Then open the Coventry one for this Year s money.

Hi, sorry a bit confused I am guessing you mean transfer within Santander? So yes you could transfer within current rates, the 3% one being a 2 year fix.

Yes you can transfer old into new and have another new one for this years allowance. You can not have this years (i.e. the current year) allowance in more than one account.

thanks for the replies, i understand now. i guess it doesnt matter which one i open first? reason i ask is because my santander one does drop until the 28th april, but id like to open the coventry one now for my new cash. will open the other nearer the 28th.
