Flight compensation queiry

Hi all sorry if this post already exists but a newbee, we booked a flights with Thomsons airways the flight number was also Thomsons and obviously we payed Thomsons but the actual flight was supplied by Monarch Airways, we had a 24hr delay and as Thomsons are playing hard ball and say its not them we need to claim from but from Monarch...... so who do we claim from? To make thing worse as told to by Thomsons all our original documents where sent to Thomsons although we still have photo copies, any advice would be appreciated, Cheers

You have to claim from Monarch. Oddly you are the second (and only) person to make the same point, also today. What advice do you need?

Thanks that answers my query, we thought that Thomsons where maybe giving us the brush off, we have already mailed Monarch to get the ball rolling again, but hope they don't need original documents, thanks again
