    2. Lego duplo, even the big ones still play with it.
I never realized how much personal info is out there that can be used and abused to suit every purpose.

Without a doubt - Lego, hours of fun and they've just had it for years and play with it regularly.

Another for my son is I got him a tub of those little plastic soldiers years ago and sometimes i walk into the living room and they're all lined up on the sofa, the mantlepiece, the tv cabinet, everywhere, hours of fun again.

My dd - pens and paper.

For my son, lego of various types, and a Brio train and railway set that my mother bought when my sister and I were toddlers, and which lasted us, our younger sister and brother, and now Isaac. He loved it aged 18 months, and he still spends hours on it now when we go to stay with my parents, aged 7.

Without a doubt it has to be Lego.

It must be hereditary as my parents kept our Lego and we still play with it on our occasional get togethers and we are in our 40's :)

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    1. Lego

    2. I sometimes take a huge thick cardboard box home, the kids mark out windows and a door which I cut out, and off they go. Free and they absolutely love it.

    1. Craft things (some bought, some waste basically- paper, boxes, pens, glue, stickers, wool, random bits n bobs).
    2. A close second would be either dress up stuff or lego.
