Transferring from Cash ISA to S&S ISA without taking cash out of the account

Hiya Guys,

My mother has an ISA with Nationwide and they've recently cut the rate to 0.25% (disgusting). So, she would like to transfer the money but to a stocks and shares isa. How would she actually do this?

Go to new provider. Say "I want to transfer an existing ISA in". Fill out transfer request form, quoting account number of existing ISA. Sign and return form to new provider. They do the rest.
