I'm going to be doing the same as you catseyes. HFC are still charging my so I'm not really decreasing my balance at all. At first I was thinking most are charging me but it turns out my figures at the beginning were wrong so it's only HFC (£32) & Barclaycard (£5). Don't know anything about my OD or DCA.

    Hi Newlywed.

The payment does usually show. Spoke to CCS and they say it is because Barclays returned the payment in December with no explanation and I should contact them to find out why. They will re-send as 2 paymemts this month.

Skycard also been in touch to say they not yet received December payment. I made my monthly payment same as usual, so assume the delay is due to Xmas

    Hi PompeyMark88

Must have been something wrong with Barclays in December as they returned our payment for that month too with no explanation and CCCS are going to send 2 payments this month for us!!

Hi i'm in for the long haul but not yet a member but I have a question. I've been pretty stupid, when we took out DMP with CCCS we kept our First direct accounts with £500 overdraft and CC with 0 bal for emergencies, aarrgghhh! My OH has run his up so I have had to use mine for day to day expenses as budget going on CC payments. Feel a complete failure, have just opened a basic account. Can I add these debt to our DMP? my wages have gone up since starting so would be able to give CCCS extra our review was due just before christmas but have been putting it off. Any advice welcome.
Why didn't someone kick me up the backside earlier:mad:

I just feel really stupid, that I've let it get like this again. Although having an ostrich for a husband doesn't help. Sorry just another question. Our DMP is for £42k only £3k was in my name, if I was to split with oh am I liable for other amount. I was a addtional card holder on a couple of his cards.

If you split I would talk to your DMC and tell them what is in your name and what is in his. You can not be forced to pay for debt which isn't yours, though I suppose you did help spend the money.
I would say morally yes you are liable but then you would only have your debt on your DMP as it's in your name.

God I never know how to explain things

  • hi.
debragg....id stop the fist national trinity dd asap then wait for the letter, and go from there.they have to send you a statement of payments and interest and stuff, so you will have written proof to go further.then if debt is right, add it to your dmp.
catseyes....glad i could help.........you have not been charged for this service:D

they are on my DMP at the moment.

Should I tell payplan to stop the payments and keep the money allocated for First National aside?
  • Hi DeBrag. I like the idea of occasionally overpaying my DMP. Isn't this alittle risky though as it gives the impression to creditors of me having additional funds/income. Bees around a honey pot, that kind of thing.
